This institute in Taralu is next to the Thottikallu falls in Bengaluru. I have see the trainers train the dogs rigorously and the discipline is exceptional. During a weekend, the dogs and the trainers came to the falls, and the dogs crossed the crest of the falls with trainers effortlessly. It was a wonderful sight to behold and the entire visitors kept staring in amazement. Salute to both CRPF personnel and the 4 legged soldiers.

This provides additional ways to train in addition to the two obedience classes my sicx month old belgian malinois has already attended. Despite having dogs my whole life, i have been voraiciously reading dog training and psychology books lately given my little "maligator" has a mind of her own (extremely smart but obstinate) , and this one ranks among the best.
It's been ages since I last watched an excellent documentary. Being a dog lover and owner myself, I can conclude by saying they are truly amazing, gentle, intelligent and a man's best friend. ❤ kudos to this excellent institute.
When he says "imagine my predicament that despite being in command here i can't even get to pet the dogs because they are trained to be friendly only with their handlers" - you can feel the pain. I would hate that too. The dogs are so amazing that not being able to pet them or play with them, despite having everything under your control, is just heart wrenching.

Behind my home, there was a dog house of CRPF and they had two big doggos and we loved seeing them. They were so gentle, always walking slowly, no hurry. :)
I got male and female dutch shepherds Bagheera (Golden/brindle coat), Arya (silver/brindle coat), and Zelda a belgian malinois (female). They are the craziest breeds of all with full of energy and do not get tired.
These kind of k9 units can handle any emergency situations and serve the nation proudly also those personnels who are in involved in these units are remarkable

Being in Vietnam as a Dog Handler I too understand the deep loving bond that is shared between man and his best buddy. He will never leave your side in any situation and will always give his life for you, the bond you share together will live with you forever. June 2022 , a threat was recorded by India by Islamic jihadist group claiming to attack all the Hindu major Pilgrim sites. I was in Dwarka (Gujarat) one of the 4 Dhams of Hindu religion. The entire railway platform was filled with at least 20 K9's and every train arriving or departing was searched within 10 mins of Halt. It was an amazing sight , and a confidence built in us that no matter what... we are protected. Thank you K9 Unit.
