Easy Sketchbook Ideas: Monday Mini Episode 5

Hi and happy Monday! Today I'm sharing one of my favorite sketchbook ideas, a gratitude page.
I started gratitude sketching last year thanks to a class by Kate Sutton. Her information is below. This isn't an ad, but it changed my life in so many good ways, I felt I had to share.
My materials: Micron Pen 02, pencil, kneaded eraser, colored pencils of different brands, and a tiny Moleskine sketchbook.

I love this idea! I like to do gratitude journaling, and drawing what I’m grateful for sounds fun! I already draw every day. Usually a cat, or florals, or other loose sketches 😊

It always lifts me out of a funk and I usually end up drawing things I've never drawn before. I'm on a mission to draw more cats too. I don't know why I don't already... they are my favorite animal, hands down!

I've just started a new sketchbook with a page of things that I love to draw as it seemed the best way not to mess up the dreaded first page. Turns out I like drawing the things that bring joy and thankfulness to my life :)

😃well, that's a neat coincidence.... just before I started watching this video, I dug out my old gratitude journal that I started months ago ..... because I wanted to write in it, later today.... 😉
I do have a lot to be grateful for.... and I do think it's a great idea to do gratitude journaling, but, I've tried several times to do a daily gratitude practice.... but.... I just don't stick with it... I wonder..., if I made it a weekly (instead of daily) thing.... and if I included some doodles or sketches..... like you did.....if I might end up sticking with it, longer. 😊👍🏼
