Please do a video on all the items like this, would suck to delete/vendor items that turn out have a OP use in a later situation.For example heart of noxxion trinket from maraudon, some might think its useless, but that is good for a future raid boss right? Although that is refarmable, the items that are 1 time only would be best to specify.

@@ns-tech1304 I heard something couple months back how people grinded that trinket in vanilla for an AQ40 fight or something iirc. I think it was lore that used it as an example comparing it to something in retail. I could be wrong, but the main point was that there are other items out there that you dont want to be deleting.

@@tomisftw It's most likely because it gives Nature Resistance, as do almost all of the items in Maraudon which is why it is such a heavily farmed instance despite being in the 40-50 zone. The boss you're referring to is most likely Princess Huhuran since she would do a raid-wide poison DoT that was pretty much unhealable unless your entire raid was stacking nature resist.
Edit: the heart removes 1 poison effect and gives +10 nature resist which is pretty self explanatory, it doesn't give nature resist on retail anymore though.
You could get items restored back then it really did not matter if you vendered them they would just appear in your mailbox for some gold cannot remember if it was the vender price or not.

I used to run flags with this as a priest back in vanilla. Power Word: Shield negated the damage. Also ran it with Nifty Stopwatch (more run speed when Skull wears off) and Barov Peasant Caller (harder to click or tab to me with 3 "people" appearing near me).

The point of the item is mostly to carry flags in wsg because if you do it in world pvp they will just mount up and chase you in wsg getting to your base there dismounts anyone on mounts so you can outrun them it gives you the druid travel form speed boost pretty much
it's for Pendulum warriors in the 30-39 bracket

No the point of this item is to cancel out crucial cc, the speed boost is nice (you could even jump stuns with it , like how you would jump charges/intercepts on mount)

i've played on a lot of private servers and this item is used on tanks when they tank the last boss in AQ20. Not sure if it is used anywhere else but its cool that items like these can be used in endgame content
I just discovered you can pick herbs with it active incase a rogue tries to sap or blind you

Hi Kargoz! Sick videos by the way, A++ quality content. Can you refresh my memory and clarify why ticking damage means you're immune to those CC ability (gouge, blind, etc.) Are those abilities ineffective against targets with low health or in combat or what? Cheers
Taking damage breaks the CC
I remember on Badlands there was a chain quest that gives you a trinket that let you a sprint, the NPC is a gnome and was north from that dwarf. But you need a potion which the recipie comes from a goblin vendor in the Alterac ruins and its a pain since its time gated.

Great guide but you never mention the quest names for the chain and imo its a small but important oversight. I had to go find another source to compliment this video when i realized in was somewhere in the middle of the chain.
I’ve never understood why people say this is so important to own. I’ve had it on my hunter since forever and have never once found a use for it. It’s an offhand item so pretty much any class that dual wields wont have this equipped. If you need it, you have to wait 30 seconds to equip it and use it. I suppose for classes that have use a single one hander and don’t have any other way to get a speed boost like warlock with dagger equipped maybe you can run around with it equipped
For a Warrior it is useful to break a Poly in Arena.
I remember accidentally selling this on my rogue, I had to make another rogue.
Do you equip this item at the beginning of a battle ? It has a 30sec cooldown before you can use it :|
How good is this trinket still in Arena i plan on trying it in 2s with my disc friend.

an offhand slot won't affect your pvp strength significantly, specially if you are a hunter / caster
Not sure who'd find great use of this item tbh. A dual wield warrior, maybe? Or could you switch weapons after activation? Was there no cooldown following an equip of it? Maybe a warlock.
You can swap weapons in combat. So you can just equip it before cc. Then get out of cc, equip weapon again.
Literally everyone. ALL pvpers use this. Its a must to avoid warlock charm, rogue blind and hunters freezing trap etc. You're gimping yourself if you dont use this in PvP at 60
@@nimanori2852 Well I played an UD mage so I had WotF, ice block x2 and the pvp trinket once that became available. Used engineer gadgets too,, especially grenades. I was a warlord with that character and this item never gave me any problems in the battlegrounds. I was hardly aware that it existed... I can see the value of it, though, but only if there are no cooldowns when you switch and I remember that you cannot switch to an off-hands easily if you carry a 2h weapon, unless you use a script or something.
@@Francis-of8cw Right. Maybe weapons with usable effects function differently than say trinkets which had a 30 sec global cooldown before you could use them once you swapped trinkets. This was also the downfall of the engineer items, you could never use them when you needed to unless you had them equipped beforehand.
@@oscarl.3563 well ofc that was 2006 times have changed my man lol, ull be going against rogues with 2 improved sprints (breaks frost nova), 2 vanishes and 2 blinds. Not to mention they will have engineering and this item to break out of all your sheeps too. Youll need every piece of utility you can come by 2 ice blocks wont be enough to keep em of you.
this item completely breaks WSG if both teams don't have a druid with the skull.

Thanks to Swifty who made it popular back in the say with Incredible Warrior Tricks 1. I remember how much of a noob I was and vendored it as I was leveling, unaware of its potential. After watching his video, I felt extremely dumb haha.
Potential to do about 2500 self inflicted damage, be careful that's like half your health pool.

What about Nifty Stopwatch? it has more CD but doesn´t drain HP and Mana. Plus you get stats from the off-hand, it's better than stats from a trinket.

@@MichaelNNY the damage is dealt to the person using the item, so thats not the point of using it. The point is to get the movement speed bonus.
the main reason skull is so good is the cc resistance it provides..the movement speed is somewhat of icing on the cake but not the main reason its so important..the meta in pvp is significantly shaped around the cc resistance this offhand provides..furthermore because it is an offhand you can swap it in combat unlike a trinket or piece of armor..thanks for ur feedback i hope this helps

What i dont get about using this item on a warrior is that you cant use twohanders with it
you can use it then swap instantly to your 2 hander of choice ..its a offhand so you can swap it in combat..you can also unequp the skull at anytime to stop hurting yourself

Does a Druid lose mana in Cat or Bear form?
Yes. And a feral druid don't have a lot of mana to lose, does he? The worst is not noticing and shifting out (which is mana free), only to have no heals and not be able to shift back..

@@fidjibajs1 Yes you do have mana in form, and there are tons of addons that will show your mana bar in forms. Blizz chose to hide the bar by default, but you still have your mana pool. While in cat or bear form, mana regenerates at the same rate as in caster form, and any mp + 5 gear works in form. While in travel form your mana bar still shows, as energy and rage only exist in cat and bear. Humanoid or beast is irrelevant.
If hunters are immune to this mana drain, then that's just one more way that they are OP. ;)
@@fidjibajs1 Dude will you stop with the misinformation meme? If I'm wrong about this then I'm just wrong. I leveled 4 druids from end of BC thru early MoP, 3 of them feral. I was never aware that my mana pool was immune to anything, and never read anything to that effect back in the day. Or I've completely forgotten it, but you'd think I'd remember something like that. I did kill a lot of hunters though, so maybe I had an advantage I didn't know about. But I didn't shift forms as much as most druids, so you could have drained my mana and I probably wouldn't have noticed.
When Classic comes, I'll make it my business to get this trinket and report back here. Sometime in the fall maybe.
And log into what? Retail? No thanks. LIghts Hope? It's neat, but that is neither Vanilla or Classic.

I understand the advocate for #nochange but how do people feel about this? If a player can resist your spell because of the ticking dots, it renders your spell useless. And for people who didn't know about this and accidently disenchant or sell it, they can never obtain it.
Vanilla doesen't have arenas, and you can pop full consumables/use engi items etc. in BGs, so it doesen't really matter
If they sell it a GM can restore it and fun random items like this is what makes vanilla awesome I think it expands gameplay not diminish, plus it's still on a 5 min cd, quite lengthy, your not going to be breaking every sheep.

this item imunity to poly,fear and sap is just a private servers bug, i dont recall but i think this will not work in blizzad classic.
its not a bug bro you deal damage to yourself which breaks the effects of poly/sap/blind etc since those abilities break on damage

Did you even watch the video? The reason the item is so good is because it prevents certain CC abilities to be cast on you. A swiftness potion doesn't do that.
@@jackh6534 Either swiftness potion or free action potion would suffice. It would be useful if it were longer than 15 sec
Pop this, run in and grab the flag and ignore hunter trap, grab tunnel speed buff, swiftness potion after that’s over then sprint if you’re a rogue, you should be almost home in WSG by then. Just because you can swiftness potion doesn’t mean you can’t use them sequentially

@@madscientist916 I mean the likelihood of what you stated actually happening in actual pvp battlegrounds is unlikely someone will either cc or nuke you. Epic mount can catch up real fast. The problem with everyone here is you guys are acting like this item is the absolute best when in reality its optional. Yea sequentially using items can be a benefit but you'd gave to be good at timing the gcd and most pvpers aren't capable of using this item as efficiently to begin with.

Alex lol this was used back in 2006 by swiftly and other warriors why would they change this item now ? This item provides a lot of checks and balance to the game

Arent all of these guides ruining the classic feel in the end? I'll just ignore them as good as I can and just blindly play classic. No guides, no looking up on google/wowhead instantly, no addons. Everything above it will just lead to instant vomit again.
