Is it necessary that analyte have to be proteineous in nature, mostly we see that from antibody antigen is attached specificly, how can a drug which is not protein in nature detect with immunoassay technique
Great question! First antibody makes what we are looking for "stay" in place. The second antibody has been attached to something that allows us to measure a signal before hand. In other words it allows us to measure how much of what we are looking for got "stuck" in place. Please let me know if that helped😇
