Five years late and rc4wd still can’t get it right!!! It’s ok tho, I’ll just pull apart the components and reinstall them CORRECTLY. It’s not like I paid good money or anything.
Great post. I added the Warn winch to my TRX, but used the aux power source to power both my lights and the winch. I used existing plugs, but transferred wires to the plugs I needed to avoid numerous connections and ridiculously long wires. All worth noting I just used two of the supplied screws to attach the winch base to the stock bumper. With two it is very snug.
@@MehdiMirian so I would be able to get a cable with servo connectors on each end and use that from the aux power source on the trx4 to the receiver for the winch?

creamneuron correct, its mounted with velcro and using the screw holes of the winch mounting plate i soldered a wire from one to the other to secure it to the cage, will try and do a video!
Quick question five years after posting this video: does the winch automatically stop when the wire is all in or out? Will the motor keep trying to go if I'll continue to press the buttons? Also, about how much weight would this be able to pull? All the best!
It doesn’t automatically stop, so yes if you keep pressing the button it’ll try to either roll it in or out. According to their website it says it can take about 6.6 pounds but I’ve pulled close to 10. Thanks for watching after 5 years! :)
+somavilla33 glad you found it helpful and yes because your RC most probably will use a bigger and more powerful battery that would melt the winchs motor.
Can’t you shorten any of those wires? Also can you instead of battery adapter connecter, cut off the large battery end and just splice on the small end?? Thank you

@@MehdiMirian I don't see it and I need to get a charger too.
@@yojiholmesproductions you could try and get everything from rc4wd page.
It’s out of stock but this is an example of what type of battery you need to power up the winch only,

Do u need the wireless remote
+Hehs hshs without it there's no way to control the winch
Hola buenas noches, yo tengo el receptor pero no tengo el transmisor. Como puedo configurar otro transmisor diferente a ese receptor. Porfavor ayúdame gracias. Saludos
