I really like arbortec saw pants. But I don't see why anyone would want to buy these. Once I saw the struggle with the back buttons I was totally done. Especially if they only come in class 1... What if I'm running a big saw.. like I do nearly every day? I need to change pants? And when I need to change pants I need to detach and reattach to the outer skin? But I guess that wouldn't be possible considering they only come in a single class. No thanks... I'll stick with one pair of pants..
I think once attached you would take both layers off together like your normal trousers, obviously. I use every size saw , every week for last 30 years, only ever wear class1 and don't cut near my legs with big saws, which can cut through steel toe cap boots anyway. If you only use big saws all the time and you don't get too hot working then these maybe aren't what you're looking for, but for the majority of people it looks like a good idea. Maybe they'll bring out a higher spec base layer at a later date ? Probably not enough demand or they already would have.
Great review I can see that it could take some practice but I do think those set ups would be awesome! Stay safe Katie!
Is it possible to attach a skin and just take on/off both together as one?
