I’m a new subscriber. I found the channel on the last episode and was blown away by the excellent videography, documentary style content and simply by showing the natural beauty of our magnificent country! This is the type of content I love and need during this stressful and turbulent time… thank you for sharing 😊
We did go to Slide Rock when we were in Sedona. It was spring time, the water was still cold, and people were sliding in it anyway. When we go again, we'll be sure to visit El Patio for a full Jerry and Tina experience!
I've photographed Slide Rock several times. In early morning the sunlight reflects off the cliffs and really lights up the water with incredible colors. By the time the good light is gone, the swimmers start to arrive and all is good. The 'desert varnish' is also pretty cool. Would like to give Pumphouse Wash a go the next time I'm in Sedona.
Some of the best times in my childhood was at sliderock before it resembled ants on a picnic. This was before guardrails were up on the highway, scary drive. I took my son at age 10 so he could experience blue lips from the water like I did. Got some nice shots there couple years ago with snow.
Appreciate the reality check of (un)likelihood of getting into Slide Rock. First trip out that way in June, 2020 at End of the World, we woke up late, got down to the SR entrance, and it had been closed already for an hour. By 9 AM. Granted, that was early pandemic. The "have a plan B" is crucial. Thanks for sharing this with us.
Sedona has gotten so crowded. I should head up there over the winter. Otherwise I get to the trailheads at first light. That’s where I go for Mexican food too!!
So crazy, my husband just asked me if I wanted to go ice climbing in Ouray this winter - which I do…but I hate the cold! So he said well we could go back out to Arizona - still need to redo Flatiron outside of Phoenix since we got off route and then we were talking about hitting Sedona. I said I need to see what hikes Jerry Arizona has for Sedona, and I got online and here this video is! Thanks Jerry and Tina! 🤗
They have an El Patio here in cottonwood. I'm going to have to go try it, if it sucks, I'll go to the one in the Rimrock area. It always looks really good when you show it !
I love the food finish. Thank you for sharing! 😊

Love the Morgan Freeman narration at the end!
Wow, that arch is stunning.

Wow, this brings back memories. My family lived in Flagstaff back in the mid-60s and Oak Creek Canyon was one of our favorite destinations.
It’s a good day when we get to hike with you and Tina!

Wonderful shots of the water. I'd rather be to hot then cold anyway. 😆 I'm so glad you finally got your mex food fix.
Cool places, Jerry. Thank you.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again… Tina is an inspiration to the woman in my house.
I have been up pumphouse several times - its beautiful. Its much less used than many of the hikes in Sedona.
West Fork and Slide rock are our two best no-climb activities in Sedona. Cold weather, snow brings out the beauty of the places.

Happy New Year Jerry and Tina! Another fun local video in Sedona area. Mex always!
Thanks!

Love that red rock country!
And Morgan Freeman!??!
You always make sure you have a great reward after you're done exploring. Way to go :-)

We’ve had Mex there. It’s great!
Gotta love Arizona! How come I can never find my own Tina?! Those Scottsdale hussies refuse to camp! 😅. Timmy C Arizona

Love Mexican !!❤️
Wow Amazing
El Patio is delicious!! Next time you're in Sedona check out the Mexican restaurant in the Village called "Tortas De Fuego" it's amazing!
Jerry, Love your hat.... nice. Where did you get it. Beautiful ideo. Thanks, Annie from Western Australia
Our favorite Mexican restaurant was Oaxaca....I just read that they're closed, had the best Margherita's ever!😭
🤣 I also use hiking as an excuse to eat Mexican food!! 🥾🏔️🇨🇦❤️
Yo! 🤘🏼
Lots of beauty in Sedona
