Us real Ranger fans haven’t overlooked you Eovaldi or Montgomery. The media wants to talk about the hitters which they were huge too but you 2 were freaking amazing. Saved us from using that bullpen too much which made them better. You 2 top guys were the MVPs too. Thank you too so much!🏆🏆🏆🏆👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
I enjoyed watching many of my favorite ex Red Sox stars this play off season. Especially Nate Eovaldi. I extremely enjoyed seeing Chaim Bloom leave the Red Sox.
And more impressive in that the Rangers only were forced to the max number of games in one series, against the Astros, outside of that, they only lost 1 game. So Eovaldi, could have potentially had one or two more wins if the Rangers' series went longer.
He was drafted by the LOS ANGELES DODGERS in the eleventh round of the June 2008 Amateur Draft out of Alvin, TX High School. He pitched in parts of two seasons (2011-2012) for the DODGERS before he was traded on July 25, 2012, along with Scott McGough, to the MIAMI MARLINS for Randy Choate and Hanley Ramírez. 🤔 ⚾️⚾️⚾️ ROGER, The LOS ANGELES DODGER
Eovaldi is a good pitcher. Postseason Eovaldi is a GREAT pitcher. Greatest of all time? Nah. Rivera, bumgarner, lincecum, verlander, many are better. But in the last few years he’s one of the best.
Everyone that left pretty much did excellent - maybe that is why the Red Sox GM was shown the door as well. What is amazing was how many knuckleheads were justifying the incompetence. Sports are virtually the only industry where there is such little accountability that you can finish in last place repeatedly / spend a gazillion dollars and still keep your job !
Actually he could have had 6 but Game 1 of the World Series he had a “No Decision”. I’d argue he could have had 5-0 in the previous format. Haters gonna hate.
@@XX2Media sure he could have, but how can yoy deny its easier now more than ever? Just like arozarena breaking the homerun record in a single postseason He had a no decision game 1 because he got rocked? 😂
Eovaldi is a living legend.
Eovaldi was great. Rangers were clearly the better team this year. Congratulations to them.

100% agree!
Unfortunately, Montgomery wasn’t consistent in the playoffs as Eovaldi.
@@guitarheromorello 🤣🤣 so what we wouldn’t of been in the WS if it wasn’t for his performances.

Totally agree
Mickey Lolich won 3 games in the 1968 WS, but back then there was no Wildcard, ALDS or ALCS, just the World Series.
Fall Classic: Bumgarner, Strasburg, Eovaldi, Let's go!!

Such a nostalgic postseason of pitching
The Red Sox should’ve paid him.
As a Rangers fan, thank you. Red rox are always a great organization, I'm sure y'all will be back before long.
Thinking the same
Hot take right there

Why must your stupid comment be at the top of a good video?
Nate doing Nate things
That movement on the 4 seam is so nice
If he didn't get rocked in game 1 of the world series he could've been 6-0
But then we wouldn't have had Seagers game tying blast.
@@maxcrss2845 that homer was iconic and will make highlight reels for years to come.

You have to give the Rangers and the pitching credit coach to find what to change their mechanics in their deliveries.
His performance was such that his salary paid out only in this postseason
man i love the rangers
And that record will never be broken. Epic EDD said that and that's the bottom line.

Didn’t Strasbourg get 5-0 in 2019?
He did, but the first win in the NL Wild Card game came in relief. (Hudson went 1, Scherzer went 5, Strasburg went the last 3)

Hmmm expand the playoffs and records start being broken! I wonder how?!
But still, he did great for sure!
And the losing teams fans want it expanded even more they want every series to be a 7 game series lol
agree.... these expanded playoffs records are just that... more games = more opportunities.
Extra round so of course no one has done it. It's annoying seeing all of these playoff "records" when it's not even remotely the same

That's so dishonest. The so-called "post season" used to be a maximum of 7 games. This year, it was 40.
