    Us real Ranger fans haven’t overlooked you Eovaldi or Montgomery. The media wants to talk about the hitters which they were huge too but you 2 were freaking amazing. Saved us from using that bullpen too much which made them better. You 2 top guys were the MVPs too. Thank you too so much!🏆🏆🏆🏆👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

      Unfortunately, Montgomery wasn’t consistent in the playoffs as Eovaldi.

    I enjoyed watching many of my favorite ex Red Sox stars this play off season. Especially Nate Eovaldi. I extremely enjoyed seeing Chaim Bloom leave the Red Sox.

    Mickey Lolich won 3 games in the 1968 WS, but back then there was no Wildcard, ALDS or ALCS, just the World Series.

    And more impressive in that the Rangers only were forced to the max number of games in one series, against the Astros, outside of that, they only lost 1 game. So Eovaldi, could have potentially had one or two more wins if the Rangers' series went longer.

      He was drafted by the LOS ANGELES DODGERS in the eleventh round of the June 2008 Amateur Draft out of Alvin, TX High School. He pitched in parts of two seasons (2011-2012) for the DODGERS before he was traded on July 25, 2012, along with Scott McGough, to the MIAMI MARLINS for Randy Choate and Hanley Ramírez. 🤔 ⚾️⚾️⚾️

      Eovaldi is a good pitcher. Postseason Eovaldi is a GREAT pitcher. Greatest of all time? Nah. Rivera, bumgarner, lincecum, verlander, many are better. But in the last few years he’s one of the best.

      Everyone that left pretty much did excellent - maybe that is why the Red Sox GM was shown the door as well. What is amazing was how many knuckleheads were justifying the incompetence. Sports are virtually the only industry where there is such little accountability that you can finish in last place repeatedly / spend a gazillion dollars and still keep your job !

      He did, but the first win in the NL Wild Card game came in relief. (Hudson went 1, Scherzer went 5, Strasburg went the last 3)
