Hutchence's suicide was attributed to much stress combined w custody issues he had since he wanted to raise his first & only baby w partner Paula Yates in Australia but was in conflict w Paula's ex "Sir" Bob Geldof of the lame-a%% band Boomtown Rats who had much power in England since he organized global Live-AId & was knighted by Queen Elizabeth II. Geldof had 3 children with Paula Yates who was his legal wife. Paula dumped hubby Bob for Michael Hutchence and divorced him. Michael Hutchence loathed London where he and Paula were hounded by the paparazzi since she divorced "Saint Bob" to be with Michael. MH & PY had a baby girl Tiger-Lily together. Michael wanted to be w his baby but not in London, so while the tension raged between the two men and Paula over where to raise the children, Michael was also trying to resurrect his fading career. He was taking anti-depressants due to stress. Also had suffered serious brain damage due to a street fight w a cabbie in Copenhagen when he was only 32 & lost his senses of taste & smell.. The night he died In Melbourne he made several raging phone calls to "Saint Bob" & called several friends for help, then hung himself in his hotel room in despair. And no, it was NOT auto-erotic asphyxiation but more likely a fatal combo of anti-depressants, alcohol, cocaine, exhaustion & depression. He was only 37. Paula Yates OD'd on heroin and died 4 years later leaving Tiger-Lily an orphan. Geldof raised MH &PY's daughter in London where she is now in her late 20's & supposedly engaged to be married sometime in 2025. Hope Tiger-Lily has found some happiness after such a tragic beginning to her life. [PS Her half-sister Peaches one of 3 daughters of Geldhof & Yates also died from a heroin overdose at the age of 25. So Tiger-Lily has had a life with much trauma & tragedy]
