Luncheon with the Experts: Mariam Aboian, MD, PhD (and SPECIAL GUEST!)

Mariam Aboian, MD, PhD, joined us during the NANETS Multidisciplinary NET Medical Symposium, providing us with real-time updates from the annual event! She was also joined briefly by NANETS President, Dr. Pamela Kunz!
Dr. Aboian is a radiologist, neuroradiologist, and nuclear medicine physician at Yale School of Medicine and is the head of the Aboian Lab. Dr. Aboian’s background training and clinical experience are focused on neuroimaging of primary brain tumors and metastatic cancer to the brain with dedicated subspecialty training in neuroradiology and nuclear medicine. Her main area of research is the integration of radiogenomics and molecular imaging in the study of primary and metastatic brain tumors, with a particular focus on the development and translation of novel PET tracers into clinical practice.
