  • Don't you hate it when you've typed out a long drawn out paragraph about something. Only to watch it disappear into thin air because technology sucks? Yea well here we go, trying this for the second time. So this is quite a rare sight here. Thats right, turbo charged Dodge Neon rolled into the gate this morning. Seems to be pretty complete and in fair shape considering it was a cheap "performance " car from the Chrysler brand. It held up alright. I wouldn't say it was taken great care of but Im sure it would be a good parts car or if you really wanted a project you could rebuild the entire thing! Its complete minus some spark plugs and wires. Maybe we can round some up and see if she lives? If someone wants this car step up to the plate quick! She won't sit here long! Bring a grand and trailer it home ! keys, title and car sold together. Thanks for watching, drop a comment down below and let us know what you think !

When I was in high school Neon SRT4's were portrayed all over the news as death machines. Kids scamming their parents into buying as a first car since "it's just a neon". These cars would flat out smoke most any regular street car back in 2004.

Stage 1 is from mopar the turbo setup. Was a good car for its generation idk with these modern 4 cylinders cranking out what they are if they can keep up but either way its literally a classic. Gonna take alot of money and time to rebuild this one. Previous owner of 3 bought wrecked rebuilt profited thousands from selling. Fun to drive. Either way it's your choice best of luck! These things were everywhere(including regular Neons) in the 00's. Then its like after 2011-2012, there were NONE. I don't know what it was about the owners of the SRT-4(and reg Neons too), but they just absolutely trashed these cars, beat the ever living piss out of them, didn't bother to wash them, smashed them up, ghetto modded them, and drove them into the ditch.
Still I'd love to see a built PT Cruiser that runs an 11 second quarter mile(you could get the same turbo motor in a PT Cruiser, aka the Neon wagon)

Nice SRT4. As in...hey it needs some love! Its missing the rear wing though.
They were fast in their time. 0-60 in what? 5.3. 0-100 in 13 flat. Mind you this thing had 215hp and 255ft/lb of torque. It was meant to go up against the Imprezza WRX STi, Cobalt SS, Focus SVT (pre ST/RS days) and Civic/RSX at the time. 2002-2008?
This little dude came with Bigger brakes, better/stiffer suspension and of course that boost happy turbo. You all may poo-poo on this little grocery getter but this was during a time when American car companies were trying to be hip and join the FWD crowd. For 20K you could buy this off the lot and have a fun car, especially with SCCA and just dig your heels into it. It was an entry level into the realm of SRT and Dodge. Pure and Fun. Remember the GLH? I don't either. But Mopar has a way of playing with Turbo toys. 5speed turbo caravan rings a bell.
I remember a guy in high school who had a yellow one. Claimed 300 horsepower to the wheels with parts from ma Mopar catalogue. It got me to like boosted fwd cars even though I had a 1991 SuperCoupe Thunderbird.
