Drive the Maroochy Part 6

As promised in Episode 1, we get out of the car and onto a Maroochy River Cruise.
You can contact them at www.cruisemaroochy.com to see their fabulous range of cruises. They do eco tours, nature, morning tea to cotton Tree, Sunset cruises and more.
We hop on board the "Maroochy" and take a leisurely cruise down the river to the see the mouth of the river from a different perspective and are surprised at the amount of birdlife and people sharing this beautiful environment. Then the boat heads upstream taking in the spectacular scenery around Maroochydore and magnificent mangrove forests.
We then did a walk from the river to the Maroochy Wetlands Visitor Centre to learn more about this incredible natural resource that was saved from the developers.
A fantastic morning tea with scones and jam was served on board, then a big barbecue lunch as we made our way back to the dock.
