In the last video I revealed the project that I was invited to join. Together with other creators I had the pleasure to visit Andalucia in Spain to document that beautiful region through the lens of my camera. In today's episode, a professional camera crew was following me to film a documentary about the project. It was amazing experience that was a lot of fun and it is something I'll never forget. The camera used for the documentary costs around 100.000$ which makes my Leica look very cheap in comparison. Oh boy, I can't wait for the documentary to drop in a few weeks. 😁
See you soon in the next one!

Great fun following this project! Beautiful area. Very inspiring images
I have already seen in Thomas Heaton's daily vlogs that you are one of the contributors. That was surely a great project, even if you have to ask people for pictures. :D I'm looking forward to the complete documentation.
Thanks mate! 😊
I’m hearing “Oh brave sir Robin” with the coconuts as the guy walks behind you with the Arri. 😂
Great vid
🤣 At least I didn't wet my armor.
Robin, das ist echt cool! Du verdienst noch viel mehr Aufmerksamkeit! 👍
Wow! What a beautiful area of Spain, It appears to be rich in culture .😎with incredibly beautiful scenes. Lots of talent on hand in this film! I thoroughly enjoyed watching this video, thanks creating and sharing it Robin!✌️
Thank you so much John! ☺️
Lovely place and another great video!
I'm very happy you've gotten such a wonderful opportunity to reach more viewers. Congratulations.
Thank you so much!
Súper cool project
Enjoyed: thank you! Lucky guy! Do you have a link to a list of the photographers involved in this project?
Great video,
Robin!! So different!! Love it! Regards from Valencia, looking forward to see you soon again around!
Thanks mate! 😊
Seems like you're having a blast!! Wonderful!! I was in Sevilla, Granada and Valencia this past March. La Alhambra was absolutely fabulous. Watching this reminded me of the ton of photos that still need editing. Can't wait to see Leica's final film. But also eager to see the rest of your journey in Andalucía. Keep having fun and making great pics!!!
Thank you very much Raul, I had indeed a blast during my time in Andalucia.
Cool tee shirt, great band! oh great images too :)
Thank you Jim! ☺️
I know this was for a gig, but Imagine having to ask for a release every time, especially on film, man that would kill street photography instantly.
Ive seen a few RUclipsrs in Andalucia for some reason, there must have been some tourism push or something, but I have to say your photos are by far the best of the lot imo.
Thank you! I was explaining what was going in the video prior to this one.
@@therealsirrobin Sorry must have missed that one. What a pain having to sign a disclosure though.
Saw some familiar names and faces. Mike from England is there too. He is an awsome street photographer., hope you can share some knowledge.
Great to follow you on different channels.
Thanks for sharing
Thank you. Yes, I've met him briefly but there wasn't much time to hang out with the other photographers.
Congrats!
Few people understand how exhausting it is to meet people on a photo or video shoot in the street and explain yourself, interview them, and get them to go along with the scenario. By the end of the day you are totally spent. It is tough for someone who is a behind the scenes person to jump in to those situations continually.
Yes, totally agree with that.👍
Awesome stuff John - what a blessing to all!
John, who is John? 😆
Oh boy - a 'Freudian slip'. I meant Robin - I had somebody called John in my head.@@therealsirrobin
Haha, no worries!👍
Really interesting and great photos, especially considering the pressure! Looking forward to the documentary! Hopefully you can still use the non-released shots yourself.
Thank you! Yes, I am publishing some of the images that cant be used for the project in my videos. 👍
This is great Robin. But it must be exhausting having to curtail your usual instincts and working method to appease those release form requests. Must really slow you down. Great photos nonetheless!
Thank you! Yes, it felt a little strange to say the least but it was worth it.👍
Is their documentary available to see somewhere ?
Not yet. It will premier at a film festival on Spain this month.
bei 5:26 müsstest du theoretisch nur den Saxophon Spieler um Erlaubnis fragen :D
Dachte ich in dem Moment auch. 😀
To use the photos? Is that an EU GDPR thing?
Not for the videos but the photos will be used for marketing.
I don't understand why you wanted a release....you don't need a release for editorial use.
I was thinking that. if it's public space and its just street photography and material not used for marketing or have other dominant copyright material then shouldn't need the release.
Different countries different laws but RUclips, I don’t know the real reason.
@@sexysilversurfer .....the video was shot in Spain and I live in Spain....and you don't need any release for public images as Alan above says.
Having said that I got the impression that the video was about a documentary or similar and then maybe it would have made sense to get a release especially when they had a lot of staged clips.... this type of video might easily fall beyond editorial.
The photos will be used for marketing and will also be published in a book and for that reason we needed those releases
@@therealsirrobin ....thank you for clarifying the situation: that explains everything!!! All the best for your project! And thank you for posting....
Don’t you feel at your best when you are on your own, with no other photographers or cameramen around you? I can see no reason to be part of a photographer scrum, other than being paid for it!
Sure, I can be more efficient when I work just by myself but nonetheless it was a great opportunity and being featured in well made documentary and a book is a nice achievement.
