It's the last video of the year and also the last and final video from my trip to Andalucia. The project was amazing and it was a pleasure and honor to be part of it! In the final video, I am not only shooting the Leica Q3 but also a roll of film in my Fuji GF670. I was planning to shoot a lot more film but it was a job and getting everything developed in time would have been a problem since one day after returning I was off to the next trip. 😁
See you soon in the next one!

Minor Threat 💪
Man, my driver had it easy. Haha
I really dig your photography, Robin. Your compositions and use of flash set your work apart.
Can’t wait for the documentary… loved you and Tom Heaton as well as Mike Chudley.
Haha, thx buddy. Cant wait to see your video!! 🙂👍
Great!
More sympathetic portraits than your street stuff - beautiful - and especially the dog
Thank you Peter!
Some really great photos, especially the old man on a bench by the sea! 👏
Thanks a lot!
Magnificent work, Robin! Thanks for sharing:)
Amazing images, Robin. The chap in the hat and dog are outstanding!😍❤️
Thank you very much!
Great video, thank you!
Thank you!
Beautiful pix. Happy new year.
Thank you, for you too!
I like how everyone does the "3,2,1" countdown when they shoot film. Even when it is a landscape or something that doesn't even move 😀
Jealousy will get you nowhere, put up or shut up!!!!
It is helpful to keep yourself focused on not messing up. 😆
Amazing video, Robin! Thanks for taking us with you :-)
Danke dir! 🙂
I actually lived in a few of those towns on the coast for about a year, including Motril. Great seeing your videos and photos. I really liked going down memory lane
An excellent episode once again. Very enjoyable to watch and beautiful images
Spain is beautiful! I've visited Barcelona, Madrid, Toledo, Segovia, and Tarragona. Eventually I'd like to visit the southern region.
Thank you for sharing. I very much appreciate how you put everything together in your videos and oh love your cameras too!
Thank you, much appreciated! 🙏
As always your photography is super impressive. Love the fill flash.
Would you share your flash setup? Using a cable to SF40 right now and it’s cumbersome. TIA
Thank you so much. It's crazy how much impact that little flash can have.
There is a link to the flash in the video description. A cable is better than on camera flash but without is indeed so much better.
Very entertaining video. Happy New Year Robin! 😎✌️
Thank you so much John! Best wishes for 2024!
@@therealsirrobin thank you Robin 😎✌️
Sehr schöner Trip und wunderbar dokumentiert :-) Danke
Danke für das Lob!
Awesome video with lots of Fantastic shots, Thanks Robin....
Thanks a lot!
What a fantastic experience, Robin. Amazing athmosphere you created.
Best wishes for 2024 ! Good health and a lot of great trips and shoots !
Thank you so much, wish you the same for the new year! 👍
Excellent!!!! Great adventure and photography!!
Thank you 🙂
Great episode.
I love the shot where you were walking along the stone wall with the bend lamppost.
Excellent
Thanks for sharing and a happy and healthy new year
Thank you! Have a great 2024!
This was amazing man! Thank you for sharing.
Thank you so much!
NIce shooting. Good portraits. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you!
Impressive! Thanks for sharing.
Thank you!
Superb as usual. Looking forward to 2024 for new photographic adventures.
Thank you Christian!
Very interesting and enjoyable sequence of videos from Andalucia! Love your Leica colours and use of flash. Can I ask you to clarify something please? Were the model releases only required because you were using the images in a commercial project, or do photographers taking street portraits for personal, non-commercial purposes also need model releases?
Beautiful shots Robin, hope you have an awesome NEW YEAR .....
Thanks mate! Will you go to Taipei in the next few months?
@@therealsirrobin Hey Robin, I'm in Taiwan and Hong Kong March 2024 😜
Love the colours and the fill in flash just blends in seamlessly. Is this straight out of the camera or edited later?
Thank you! I shoot raw and always process my images but I only apply a preset.
I've really enjoyed this series. And in this video you had some amazing subjects and the images looked great. Lomo make a few interesting looking film stocks.... Metropolis is the one I'm tempted to try the most.
Best wishes for 2024
Thank you David!!
Happy new year Robin
Thank you! Wish you the same 👍
Great series of videos Sir Robin! Quick question - you mentioned that you needed to get permission to include photos of people from the front. How did you get permission from the guy asleep on the beach?
This photo won't be used for the project, just for the video.
The light green Renault R4 was my first car ever (bought for 100 DM). :)
I think that was a Seat. Initially, I also thought it would be a Renault but it's some odd Seat 4x4.
@@therealsirrobin No, at 0:46 it is clearly an R4. A „boxy“ Seat Marbella (I think you have that in mind) looks different.
I really love the colors on the photo of the gentleman on the beach. This episode is somewhat a mini walkthrough of your process and I am learning a lot. Anyway, I have a question. May I know what lens are you using on your Leica? Cheers!
Thank you very much! The Q3 has a fixed lens which is a 28mm f/1.7.
Excellent and fun shoot! May I ask which flash and triggering unit you use on your Q3? Thank you!
Thank you! The trigger comes with the flash and you'll the link in the video description. 👍
With what looks like a viewfinder on your Leica how are you syncing your flash to the camera? The Q3 can use off camera flash?
That piece on his Q3 is the wireless trigger. He’s using a Q20 II flash
Thanks for answering the question Eric!
Hi Robin, i'm considering to buy the same camera bag as yours (wotancraft pilot 3,5L). What's your feedback on it ? Is it suit you for your daily use (generally i use a leica m1O with 2 prime lenses with me), not too heavy ? And what about the leather, is it better than the standard version one ? Thanks for your responses and your work !
Hi Jeremy! I think for an M10 plus an additional lens the bag should be ideal. I haven't tried the regular one but the leather version is lovely and feels very lightweight. 👍
At what power do you set your fill flash
That varies depending on the situation but often not more than 1/8 power.
Is this Leica Q3 much faster than the previous ones?
In regards to what?
@@therealsirrobin focus speed. Thanks!
Well, not much faster but more accurate in afc.
Why film very expensive?
