-COST: It is EXPENSIVE to fly business class on EVA Air, so if you can travel during low season, that's the best! Otherwise if you're traveling when it's busy, try to buy premium economy and then buy miles to help you upgrade up to business. That's what my family usually does, and it helps us save quite a bit of $! Otherwise, a ticket one way would be $3k per person or about $6k round trip, which is...A LOT!
-MEALS: Something that you can do a few weeks in advance of your trip is select a special meal if you'd like. There are some "secret menu" items that are online like stir-fried lobster with ginger and scallion, which my mom really enjoys. You can pre-order that and have them serve that on your flight. Otherwise if you don't pick, you'll be served whatever is on the menu that day.
-SNACK: I've been on a few flights where they run out of their most popular snack options like instant noodles! Pro tip is to ask them early on (I like to ask after dinner before sleeping), and I say that I'd like to eat the instant noodles once I wake up, so they'll save you an order. Otherwise, they may run out!

As a frequent long-haul flyer, it is refreshing to see someone truly enjoy the business class experience and appreciate the work of the crew. Too many business/first class flyers take it for granted.

The midnight flights have reduced meal service. That’s why you did not get soup, salad and service from dessert/cheese cart.

I thought about booking Eva business for our family. However, seeing the herringbone seat configuration, I am worried that I cannot easily reach over to help or watch my 6 years old. What do you think? Is the middle partition between the 2 seats really bulky? We flew business on other airlines and the seats are next to each other with partition going up and down, not like this herringbone kind. Thanks
