Tough song, I did hold the chair for this one....cuz I'm not NoBarBen. The pad isn't penny modded, and I'm getting similar scores to the arcade on the easier songs. My legs aren't fast enough for this song, for now.

I have the very same pad :) I am so happy with it! There are no ddr cabs here in Portugal, so this was my choice. I didn’t play at all since 2015 and got my pad on April. This last week I was able to beat my first Lv18 at the very first attempt :) a friend challenged me and I tried it. I never had tried even a 17 before xD got an A on Come to Life CSP :) happy! Not bad for a 37 years old chubby xD awesome video mate :) hope you are also happy with the pad :D

@@carloscontreras4707mine is still alive and kicking. Until today, only some cleaning of the contacts with WD40 and no problems :)

@@FinalBass Ordered mine like late March. Lots of people are getting it like 25 to 35 days though. It's definitely worth the wait though :D

Nicely done. 👍🏻 How long did it take you to pass this song? I’ve been beating my head against a wall when it gets to the jumps... I get exhausted, and frustrated after a few try’s, and I usually move to a different song.
Took like a year to build up stamina for it. Then about 6 tries to pass this. And I agree, the jumps are so draining, and this is supposed to be one of the easier 17?? Some people are just too good at this

What kind of dust did you use on your pad? I bought a brand new pair of shoes to use on my brand new ltek pad and there is way too much grip. I was considering using some chalk dust to make it a little less grippy but I wasn't sure if it's safe for the censors.
Nothing really! It's just dust and dirt from the garage that's accumulating. The shoes in wearing is over a year old, so the soles are worn down and kind of slippery.

@@GogglesPIU thanks I use to use the Xbox 360 I had to reinstall driver just to make it work and it’s annoying lol

Yep! The feeling of the pad is still the same. At least in my opinion. Can't say the same about the pump it up pads though!

This video was stock performance, but it's now copper plate modded

I don't remember the Cobalt Flux too well, only used it twice
Do you normally FC ESP possession on the arcade and does your score here matches what you can do on the arcade?
So for you, is it close enough to the arcade when it comes to timing and/or sensitivity?
Hopefully I can find out once the arcades open up. I think I passed possession after a lot of practice at home during covid, but never got to pass it on arcade. Or if I did pass it at arcade, it was probably a super bad score. I'm sure the timing is easier for the home version than the arcade. And sensitivity..... I honestly don't remember the arcade's sensitivity to answer that. Everything opens up in June for me though.

It's odd because it's flexing so much. I have the same pad and it doesn't seem to move that much but maybe it is? Either way, nice work.

This is stepmania, with the starlight theme.
What Stepmania theme are you using?
The one in the video is the DDR Ace theme by KENp. I'm currently using starlight which better than this theme imo
@@GogglesPIU how do you get Starlight theme and how to install it right? I tried one time and it didn't work. Maybe I did it wrong. I'll appreciate the help.

@@GogglesPIU Any tips to stop the misfiring and ghost steps? I did the copper tape mod on an EX Pro 2 and no matter where i place it, or adjusting the distance of the copper to the plates, it always has a misfire or tw/pad misses. It did that even unmodded so i can't find the source of the problem.
Is this pad penny modded?
In this video, it was not modded at all. My pad is copper plate modded now though.

@@g33koftech you probably already got your answer but for future readers yep its the same, the copper plate sets can be bought from ddrpad and it is extremely easy to do
