This is one perspective in the video, I'll add mine: I go to the gym 6 days a week, I brush my teeth, I bathe, I work, I meal prep...spending 3 seconds to take a small white pill a day to retain my hair is the least of my concern nor do I even think about my hair or being bald. He says the fear of being bald is there with finasteride so he ends up going bald anyways? It's like saying you have a fear of cancer but then you start smoking cigarettes to just get the cancer already and over with it so you don't need to worry about it.
It’s not the time it takes to swallow the pill. It’s the long term dependency on it to keep him happy and never actually being fully content with himself is what he is largely saying. Something I do find interesting though so I’d love to hear your thoughts. If you never think about your hair what being you to channels like Baldcafe?
@@Baldcafewe are being on your channel for fun and entertainment. Also interesting to see others perspective on hairloss etc... I also saved my hair (been on meds for more than 10 years). But I still occasionally check out on hairloss channels cause it's entertaining to me. I like to watch these videos while taking my morning coffee ☕️ . Watching baldcafe / haircafe / Matt Dominance etc.. doesn't necessarily mean you are still " worried " about your hairloss . We just find the topic interesting and entertaining. That's it. It's not that deep mate :) . I know you always think people are stressed etc.. that they watch something because they see themselves in the videos etc... but not everyone is the same. A lot of people are stressed but also a lot of people just find it genuinely interesting and entertaining and like to learn new stuff about how people think, or how a new hairloss medication is working etc etc...
@@Baldcafe I watched the video and understood his words. And again, that makes no sense. It's akin to saying that I won't go to the gym because I'm never happy with my physique and depend on the gym to keep me slim, and therefore I'll just give up and start eating myself to death. It's like someone saying they don't want to depend on life saving medication so they'll just end it right there because they don't like dependency. Do you stop brushing your teeth because you don't want to depend on toothpaste? I would understand if he said he didn't like the results finasteride gave him so he just shaved it, but this idea of dependency and being let "free" as if he was some sort of slave to the drug is such a bizarre notion. He isn't happy about losing his hair nor is he happy he is bald. He's doing what every other bald man does which is acceptance. Acceptance is *not* the same thing as happiness. This guy has some other issues going on and the precise point of this video is for other bald men to feel better about having missed out on the opportunity of a lifetime to save their hair. They feel the need to justify their poor decision making and regret. I'm not on this channel because I worry about my hair, I'm on this channel to see what it's like for a bunch of other bald men who regret not taking treatment and saving their hair and my goodness it is truly an eye opening experience with videos like this. If you think I'm on this channel because I worry about my hair, what does it say when bald men are on this channel watching this video? Perhaps using it as a coping mechanism?
@@Baldcafe why do some people retain their hair well into old age despite having a receding hairline. Isn't a receding hairline actually just a natural thing as you get older for a lot of people and not necessarily signs of impending baldness?

Make sure to take some high quality multivitamins, give your body what it needs to regrow hair. Take collagen, put high quality castor oil on your head. Improve circulation/bloodflow. Hair is the last thing the body takes care of if you’re missing nutrients. It might not help but it can’t hurt to start with what I’ve said.
His hair, his choice but he really didn't need to shave his head. Apart from some recession he had great looking hair and honestly looked a lot better beforehand.
I learned not to give a damn to what other people think thanks to a colleage. I was a busdriver and it was the time Corona kicked in so the barber shops were closed. I’m glad you can see the true value in this man 👍 unfortunately a lot of people totally missing the point blinded by negativity and insecurity. The industry is in a sorry state.
This person has a very all or nothing type of personality. He mentioned taking finasteride and it’s been 10 years. If he hadn’t taken it, he would’ve been more bald. How would you know? 10 years is a mighty long time in a human life span and losing hair isn’t finite.. over a decade we would surely see less..he mentions over training and not accepting what you have.. as I listen I’m reminded that these are extremes and there is a middle. Working out 3 times a week is great for you.. taking finasteride 3x per week.. is good you might have had contraindications for 1mg daily because some people are a super absorbers..some people do not and release the drug quicker and some do even less, use your own body’s signals to determine if you need to lower dosage . I’ve even seen 2x per week-divide with equal distance of time between having an affect. He mentioned hating minoxidil, he didn’t have to use that particular type. There’s foams, there’s pills.. it’s a stimulator not a DHT blocker so they are different modalities of action than finasteride. 1x per day is all that is needed for minoxidil, i recommend before bed. Half-life of minoxidil is 22 hours so no need for 2x daily.
Hair loss has nothing to do with getting old, it's all genetics. It sucks because hair is viewed a healthy and youthful when that not 100%. There's a lot sick unhealthy people with good hair. Own your insecurities and make them your strengths!
My hair is receding as well i am 35 but i still have thick hair, only on the sides of front are little bit receded by age 31….The side parts….But you both look great bald dude, both of you are good looking lads, no gay. Very entertaining and inspiring content, you’re boosting those men confidence. Really good job.
When you say work you mean it slowed/halted the rate of his balding. What is largely overlooked is that it doesn’t truly rid you of the concern over going bald. For that you must accept it and recognise that it isn’t actually a problem to go bald. Then you are free and don’t even need drugs etc. 👍
@@Baldcafe if finasteride slowed then he could use dutasteride. It is almost impossible for him to stop his hairloss with dutasteride. its a very strong medication. also there is minoxidil, ru58841, hair transplants, hair systems etc. why you should go bald while you have many options to fight against it? if nothing works which is a very slim chance, then there is nothing to do.
@DanthaManYO Suddenly after 6 years of continuous use he has side effects? I would look for the cause somewhere else. Some people have poined out in the comments that he may have anxiety.
@lordwiadro83 I am not saying he had them. People reported sides in much shorter time frame tho. I can't even imagine how can it be after 5 or 10 years.

Guys, it used to be much more before but less now the pp size, now its the baldness... Do you see how people treat balding guys, you seen that bald dude on tiktok? They laugh at his face? Pointing their finer at him and laughing. Imagine, it's like we went into a time machine. It's another body dysmorphia being created, and a real bad one at that. Do you know how balding people feel? Did you stop to watch and listen to their talks of being ashamed to leave the house cause of the wind or rain, go to the beach, constantly looking for mirrors trying to mask it, cover it, disguise it. What happens? Men who ain't even balding that hard start getting treatment which is fine, their body their life, but then, remember, sure some cases are more severe but you got guys like this who shave their head FOR WRONG REASONS. Don't shave your head cause you're worried about somebody not liking you. If you feel it would suit you head more and sure some heads are just means for no hair i mean i saw this Buddhist guy on a podcast who was Caucasian and he looked amazing. Every feature of his face just shined more. I bet he ain't doing it cause he feel dread or like a living corpse or being afraid of being mocked by people. But so many guys ain't even balding. I used to and still do have small widow peaks. It happened when i was 18 the corners of my hair went gray and kind of just went away. Years went by and i meet a guy who's only got the back of his head so he wears a had even if it's the hottest day of the year. And he compliments my density and says like "yeah i would give my arm to have hair like your's" and i'm being nice, i tell him naah i used to rock short hair see, and i had really to spread the jungle to show him the small peaks. And he tells me to shave it off cause it will go all off in 2 months. How many time has it been since then? Ehh i'd say 6 years. I have the same hairline as i did when i spoke to him. So please guys, at least don't make it bother you, if you get to a point where you are truly, without a doubt just losing bunch of hair go to a doctor. If he redirects you to a shrink, you're fine :) Sending pisitive vibes to everyone, especially people struggling, i've seen some videos of such nice guys with such good hair, throwing it away, again, for wrong reasons.

True. In Korea the dosis is actually 0.5mg

Another salty guy totally missing the point. Hate all you want it won’t do anything for you.
I am so proud and happy for this man and others who just what to overcome and move forward in life in this journey. We are men and what we do defines us not our hair or whatever what we do not have control. I am just focus on my healthy physical, mental and emotional. Relationship with God reminds me not to be overly attached in temporal matters in this life. Just meaning to make my life in the best possible way.
This guy most definitely shouldn't have shaved his head. There is nothing wrong with his hair just a recessed hairline which wasnt even bad. This is complete Insanity
Shows you how much of a mental game balding is. It’s all psychological. Should be a wake up for many
Not your call to make.
Not only that but with that buzz cut it just accentuates how much his hairline has receded, like he made his problem significantly worse for no reason
Imagine taking meds for 10 years?
I would do the same, prolly earlier than he did it.
@@Dexter98714 You just pop a pill in your mouth and you're done. It's not complicated or expensive. The side effects can be concerning though, but he didn't have any of them
Looks so much better 👍🏼
He can always get a hairtransplant cause his hair is really thick.
not if he doesn't get back on fin asap. AGA rarely stabilizes. can't get a transplant as a NW7, which he eventually will be
You still have a whole lot of thick hair up there man! Its not even that bad...
I look forward to these videos.
First of all you are very good looking and be grateful to God. Secondly your hair are good, you can still go for the hairline transplant you will do great trust me.
Love your vids! Thanks for posting such encouraging content.
It was the best thing ever to not give a f and just start shaving. I looked better than I had in years. Still got my beard, tattoos, muscles and personality. Hair ain't a big deal
I like this new perspective. Every person has a different story
Damn, my hair line is receding way more and I’m balding lightly on my crown and still rocking my hair confidently. I know eventually I’ll shave it off.
Fix your inner first. This guy did not have to shave. He needs to love himself first.
Thats exactly what he is doing. Did you listen to what he was saying?
Actually his hair looks pretty good. The hairline doesnt look too bad either. Pretty thick head of hair to be honest. But hey whatever makes him happy now. He can always grow it back later if he chooses. But the buzz cut looks good. Much better than the skin shave probably would have.
with a transplant he would be fine actually. his hair thickness is good.
I used to shave my head through all of my 20s. I respect this guy. It'll transform you if you let it.
Buzzcut = looks older but more manly
Messy hair = looks younger but more nerdy
Damn his isn’t bad. He has good hair thickness and looks good. Just receded in front. I’m all thinning all over place. But mainly crown bald spot and front piece looks faded but not to bad.
The look suits him really well, plus his attitude is also great
He looked better and like 12 years younger with hair but if this makes him feel better and happy I’m all for it.

Crew cut or cut as short as possible and go for mild SMP. Look for the finest artist out there. Trust me, it can fit you completely.
A very good message
@FIRSTLAST-xd6rn you said it all. I couldn't agree more
@@FIRSTLAST-xd6rn This has to be pinned 📌
Ok.. Im really bewildered. I cant see any tangible reason whatsoever for you to have shaved of a perfectly sufficient head of hair :/
DONT think with your eyes. Think with your ears and listen to the story.
@@Baldcafe why do some people retain their hair well into old age despite having a receding hairline. Isn't a receding hairline actually just a natural thing as you get older for a lot of people and not necessarily signs of impending baldness?
@@vix2740it's not just about his receding hairline, he still got rest of his hairs because of finasteride, now that he stopped taking it the hairloss will continue

Should've taken dutasteride instead as a monotherapy, better than fin and the minoxidil can cause shedding.
Great candidate for a hair transplant!
As long as he doesn't drop the finasteride then yes definitely a great candidate for a hair transplant . I couldn't agree more 👍
I started loosing hair 2 years ago after taking blood pressure medication and was diagnosed with medical induced alopecia. I used those blood pressure meds for 6 months and stopped, seems like hairs doesn't fall of any more, but the question is will they grow back? Doc says follicles are still alive, but cant tell how much time it's gonna take to grow the hairs back. Is anyone here who have same experience?
I'm a doctor no clue what's your situation but you should experience regrowth
Make sure to take some high quality multivitamins, give your body what it needs to regrow hair. Take collagen, put high quality castor oil on your head. Improve circulation/bloodflow. Hair is the last thing the body takes care of if you’re missing nutrients. It might not help but it can’t hurt to start with what I’ve said.
His hair, his choice but he really didn't need to shave his head. Apart from some recession he had great looking hair and honestly looked a lot better beforehand.
I would never shave hair like that...
Don't then 👍
I learned not to give a damn to what other people think thanks to a colleage. I was a busdriver and it was the time Corona kicked in so the barber shops were closed. This colleage was 40 years old and had amazing thick hair. And all of a sudden he came to work next day with a fully shaved head, only showing bare skin. Imagine the reactions he got from other colleages but also the passengers, we drove only 1 line so I am sure he also got reactions from them.
he looks really good with shaved head.
Hell no

Reading through the comments is really frustrating, because (besides the homophobic comments) everyone is just saying that he didn't need to shave or that he should do a transplant, completely missing the point and not even trying to empathize with him and understanding his reasons. I'm in a similar condition as him, watching this video made me feel seen. Thank you.

That’s a smart guy
As a norwood7 I would've kill for that much of hair 😂
Bro you look so handsome. Fuck those hair
You have more a mature hairline than a real hair loss , where you still have hair it's thick
Bro do a hairtransplantation. You have still lots of hair. The result will be amazing
He doesn't want to. He seems happy. What does it matter. Not everyone can have a full head of hair.
Finasteride gave me libido issues, plan on quitting
Don’t quit just lower the dose. You don’t wanna be a slap head.
Or try topical finastride its as same effective as oral finastride and prevent side effects
Your had wonderful hair, could have wear it for years yet
And he still can
This person has a very all or nothing type of personality.
Dude just be happy bro is happy
He’s got at least another 5 years of hair there. Don’t understand why he’d shave that… Should see mine 😂
Because it isn’t about how much hair you have. Listen to the story

Hair loss has nothing to do with getting old, it's all genetics. It sucks because hair is viewed a healthy and youthful when that not 100%. There's a lot sick unhealthy people with good hair. Own your insecurities and make them your strengths!

youre 35 bro get a transplant and dutasteride and go on.
He is Nacho Varga from Better call Saul 😲
Finasteride worked for him very well , if it doesn't worked then he must be balding from many years before
When you say work you mean it slowed/halted the rate of his balding.

Tge hair is fine
