I met my girlfriend after I shaved my head and we've been together for over 2 years now and we're both 21, shaving your head doesn't mean it will be difficult to find someone of a similar age as you if you shave at a young age, it just makes it easier to find the right person who likes you for who you are, not for any superficial reasons such as hair.

Alright lads! I’m the author of that list and I knew when I was writing it that the dating points would be controversial... since writing this I’ve actually been dating an absolute smoke show for six months who I met on tinder of all places... so goes to show I was partly wrong in some of my statements.
The dating point will always be a major topic of discussion for us, but if you focus on who you are instead of those strands of keratin in your head you’ll attract who you want to, even through online dating which is crazy superficial.
EDIT: I had to break things off with the girl above due to us wanting different things, was i concerned about me not being able to find a girl as good as her again as I was doing it? No, you need to comfy in your own skin and confident in yourself... the energy you put out into the world is the energy you'll receive
    Keep those heads shiny!

I got a terrible accident where the pain level was so high that my hair started falling off. Grabbing clumps of hair made me feel terrible, I felt so insecure and to top it off I felt life was going no where and it took 4 years to heal and finally able to walk this year. Having to decide to shave my head was the best choice of my life though. Not only I felt weak and just unattractive because my body got so messed up. Losing my hair too was painful, but I shaved it and love my suits and ties and fancy clothing that just goes so well with being bald. Now I have a goal to get the body that matches my hair to rock that style and make it my own. It’s nice to know others felt the same way. Just knowing a lot of people just embraces it and went through the same thought process gives me more confidence. Thank you all.

Honestly, I was the most self conscious I'd ever been in my life once I noticed I was balding. I used to be so confident in the clubs etc. It all fell away when my hair fell out at 23. I used to wear hats to accessorise, not even cover it up. But it became something I realised I relied on... To cover it up. I shaved my hair off on boxing day. Because being in lockdown meant no haircuts and my balding hair being on show more. I finally did it. I haven't worn a hat since. And it's freezing. You know why? Because I'm so excited to show it off. Trust me guys. If you knew me you'd know I was the most self conscious person.. I hated my hair... So it was a massive plunge and I can relate to you. Now I have no hair I can't wait until I can get out more often in the summer, at a bar or something and embrace it. I'm buzzing. Trust me guys the buzz you get is sensational when you tackle it!!! Love the videos Harry, you inspired me and I hope I can inspire others too

I am a girl, I don't know how I got here, but here's a random thought for you boys. My objectively speaking hottest female friend was deeply disappointed by the fact that she couldn't find herself a hot bald guy on Tinder. Admittedly, she is mid 20s and openly superficial - loves abs, but she always ended up showing me pics and saying something like "I don't like the hair, but I already have a plan how to convince him to shave it" 🤣🤣🤣 It always made me laugh, but men, you wouldn't believe how different and crazy taste in men can be. Dress half decent, keep yourself clean and stay relatively fit and you should be fine. Women are weird and there's barely even any consensus amongst us about who looks good 😂😂 There's more than plenty of chicks that would be into you if you have good personality, so yeah, focus on that.

I’m 25 and started losing hair at 21. I had thick hair until that time. I was extremely insecure about it and thought I would never find a woman who would accept me. I shaved it in 2017 and it was so freeing. I met my fiancée in 2019 and she absolutely loves it! I grew my hair back out trying to see what it would look like, and she accepted me then even with the bald spot. However, I feel much better with a shaved head, so it came back off in November 2020 which she helped me shave it all off! I love having my head shaved and I’m looking forward to my shiny head making an appearance at our wedding in December. Don’t be insecure about losing your hair, someone will accept you! I didn't have hair loss in my twenties. I started going bald in my early forties. What helped me was my husband had very little hair. He would have almost a military haircut. So when I started losing my hair my biggest fear was ending up like my father. He
Rarely went to a barber he just did the comb over. I decided that when I started losing my hair I would shave it of. That has been almost forty years ago. Approaching seventy and love rocking my bald head. Just found your channel. Wished I had this kind of conversation when I started going bald. Keep up the good work.

This was the video that helped me the most to shave my hair, I'm 24 years old and have been struggling with it since the 21. For me the biggest issue was people saying I still look good with the little amount of hair I still had but I was just feeling so bad and didn't feel myself, after shaving it instantly I felt like this is me, this is who I am from now on and don't need to keep overstressing about it again. Thanks for the help Harry, keep doing the good work and encouraging people.

Amazing video. I'm 26, been shaving since 21 or 22. I have used Minoxidil to improve my beard, not to cope with the hair loss, but because I genuinely and deeply love myself with a beard. I love the way I look bald & bearded. I am honestly, sincerely and authentically fully confident in myself, I have 0 worries or insecurities about my looks, not because of autosuggestion or something, but because I LOVE the way I look. My look screams manliness and I enjoy every single bit of it. The bald situation particularly, for me, I see it is just like a hairstyle. This is my hairstyle. It is very, very short, so what's the matter? I am so natural in my daily life, so comfortable in my own skin, no one treats me or views me differently from the guys with hair. I guess I am so lucky I enjoy it so much. Every time I look in the mirror I am pleased by what I see and feel blessed. I also have a lot of other great things about myself, I have passions, projects I am working on, a great body, great fashion style, at least good career and all the future ahead of me.
The fact that I don't have hair makes me feel like a more mature and experienced man, who has been through some battles in his life, who overcame them and owns now the advantage that came with the victory. For this battle in particular, I wear proudly the victory badge everyday. I have won other battles as well, but benefits of those wins are more visible in my attitude towards life, the confidence I have and so on.

Dating is a waste of time anyways nowadays, bald or not. Tinder has degenerated into a place where girls only seek attention and validation, very few are interested in actually dating. The chances of actually finding someone are very small, but the chances of frustration on the other hand are very high. I wouldn't measure myself on that on that. Plus I only had a single woman turn me down because of my lack of hair in the 3.5 years since I shaved. You're fine in the long run, believe me.
    I really liked that video!

I first shaved my head a few months back and I am getting more attention from women and men, on a par to a few years ago when I had a full head of curly, raven locks. I must say out of all your videos this one speaks to me the most. The benefit of shaving is not about the superficial layer. It's not about convincing yourself that it'll look better than when you had hair (although it definitely can since looks are more than just hair). It's about how by challenging the notion that looks are the most important thing you gain so much value as an individual, which in turn can trickle down and attract more quality people into your life. Gives a lot to think about, cheers.

Because I was the one getting the women out of my mates and I think my friends were resentful of that for many years and when my hair loss started they hounded me, got out of hand. Like kicking someone when they’re down relentlessly and extremely disrespectful, to the point i got a hair transplant because of the way they made me feel, to go from super confident and getting the girls to not dating slowing down and having mates taking joy from your misery is a real turning point. I was just expressing that, in my opinion, his face can really pull off a long beard - it looks majestic on him. Every time I watch his videos I used to get beard envy because my own beard is naturally curly and therefore looks dirtier much sooner; I often trim it, but due to the extreme curlyness of my beard people tend to perceive it as unkempt. I personally also still have hair on my head, I know that some subscribers of Baldcafe might not because they’re looking for positive inspiration and motivation, but I just like Baldcafe because I might be bald one day and I wish to be able to handle my potential hair loss as well as Harry did. I don’t suffer from any now, and in my personal case it’s a 50/50 chance since the men on my dad’s side never went bald (my father’s father died at age 87 with literally still a full head of hair) but my mother’s father is bald, so I am curious, and also a tad bit worried about which side of the coin I inherited. What I do know is that I’m currently 24 years old and do not show any signs of recession yet, unlike many of my peers who are starting to develop a Norwood 1/2 hairline.

How come scalp hair is some kind of jewel one must hold onto forever, but beards are disgusting and men should pretend they don't have it for all of their lives? I really don't get it. If men truly didn't need beards for some reason or other, then they wouldn't grow them anymore. To pretend it doesn't exist is to lie to yourself.

Didn't you try finesteride, minoxidil, microneedling? Were you against trying something to save your hair in the first place or it didn't work ? I get the message of your channel and I think it's really inspiring to help men face this issue especially in the psychological level. However there are a lot of men who can still save their hair, and their voice is worth hearing as well.

There are other channels for that. It’s not the cure all that it is made out to be so this channel is here also to serve those who are tired of doing all that just to manage and try to maintain sub par hair and trying to keep up appearances. It gets exhausting

I've been loosing my hair since i was 12 years old. It was suppose to fade away by my 20's , after visiting some doctors , etc. I convinced myself that the only thing that I could do was make it last trough the years, and I never used minoxidil, I took some precautions like not combing my hair a lot, not using hot water when I shower.. and some other stuff , now i'm 26 and still have a lot of hair.. I did not reverse it, I just made my hair lost slower

I'm 23 and my hair has been thinning since 17 starting at the crown. I'm at about a Norwood 3-4. I would certainly prefer a full head of hair but if I keep the sides and back real short I can get over it, don't want to be walking around with Bozo hair. I'm also currently letting my beard grow out to change it up a bit.
One thing to keep in mind is that when you see a bald or balding man out in public, do you really judge or think anything of it? No, because it's completely normal and natural. So most likely, you are you're own worst critic and nobody cares or is judging you.

12:40 Made me laugh and motivated me at the same time. I'm 24 and balding. Ive told myself that as soon as I graduate university I will shave it off but I'm starting to consider doing it earlier, I'm so sick of always thinking about it.
