This is the proper way to change a battery. HOWEVER, this is NOT the way lubricate gaskets. WAAAAYYYY to much lubication pressed into the crown and putting that disgusting cheese covered case back gasket into your lubricator was comical. Amazing, you have a Bergeon case knife and proper tweezers but decided that getting a case back press was just to extravagant. Using your fingers to close a case back may work sometimes, but eventually you will push too hard in the center and cause a permanent deformation. Im sorry you weren't instructed more competently.
