    Awesome, informative. I never realized how easy it was to do this. In NYC most Jewelry Stores charge over $30 just to change the battery. This will save me some $$ since I have over 20 watches. Thank you.

    I save so much learning how to change the batteries on my quartz watches....however you do need the correct tools to remove the backs. some watches are deceptive, they have notches on the back cover but don't screw out, they snap out. I have slowly been migrating to Solar Powered watches since you never need to change the batteries as long as they are expose to light.

    Thanks for a great video- I installed the new battery myself no problem. But how the heck do I press the back cover back into place? I'm squeeing hard but not seating/ snapping into place. I've got strong hands and I don't want to crush this watch!

    • @StatUpBox
      @StatUpBox  3 года назад +1

      Tip: use a flat , hard and sturdy surface, where you can place the watch with a cloth so it wont scratch, then press. Avoid holding it in your hands to squeeze, b/c you can brake or crack the glass. the flat surface will help to create pressure on the metal ring outside the glass and not the glass it self. good luck

      Had the same problem basically broke my thumbs trying to go for it! Ultimately I laid it down on my smooth surface counter top on top of a paper towel and held one side down and banged on the other side with a hammer. Use this method at your own risk! But it did end up working 🎉

"dime" store, one fresh LR 626 battery and this vid... and bingo! 80 bucks saved ! this is what youtube should always be about. peace. blessings x

    What is the best watch under $100? It seems like Invictus is a good choice. I have an MDC I really like ($25), an ESQ ($300) and a Cheetah ($40). Although you get what you pay for I’m not convinced the difference between a $50 and a $500 watch is significant. It seems like once you get over $1000 you start getting into noticeably higher quality.
