Always run your builds for the frost wardens def my favorite to run all the time and have for a long time. I still hit harder with your old build I can get over 110K easy but new set up with charged front bar struggling to get even 90K hopefully just learning rotation. Keep up the builds though very thankful
@@Nightharrow will do been trying a couple to see but no luck. Have to admit not sure what the draw is for everyone running charged over precise anymore seems my parses are down if I keep everything same except charge instead of precise on my master staff but I'll keep at it. Thanks again
@blakesteffenhagen3942 that’s odd, are they both golded out? Charged has been better than precise for a while now as it helps proc chilled which does more damage as a warden than other classes.
@@Nightharrow yea that's what I don't understand everyone says it does but I've played warden for years and for some reason I can never get charged to hit more for me so def a rotation thing on my end I think. To answer question yes all my stuff is golded out only thing I swap is my gold precise frost enchant master staff for a gold charge frost enchant masters.
Hi, ive just started a Mag Warden im confused to why when casting screaming cliff racer i have the same 2 buff icons displayed and not just the 1? The tooltip says 10 seconds of weapon damage and the icon buff shows the same 2 buffs with the same timer for both icons?
Hmm, that’s weird, I’m not sure what you mean, but the off balance buff could be calculated as a second effect? Maybe check if it’s only showing row when you use it on an off balance foe. If that’s not it, this would be a great discord question, where you could send a screenshot, so I would invite you to drop by.
im sure its a good guide but why is it so many guides simply dont have gameplay!! I dont care about number i want to find out the best actual playstyle build, visually and mechanically and if i cant find footage then i move to somwhere else where i can!
So I’m trying to understand what all you are looking for here and I’m just a little confused. Are you looking for advice on how to play the given setup? Like a step by step? Or something else? For play style, all the dps basically play the same, unless you are doing a meme build or something. Is this coming from a creator or someone suggesting you need to see gameplay footage to know if a build is good? Because that’s why the dummy is so useful, you can actually see what the damage output is and not have to go on vibes. I play eso a lot, so I feel like I just might be a bit detached from what would be most helpful. Because I had footage of gameplay when I was putting this build out and I just didn’t think to add it in. As an aside, I’m trying to get out a guide for every spec right now so the website will be well rounded when it goes live. So the next handful of videos I put out will likely be this pared down format. It will change once I’ve gone through them all.
@@Nightharrow No no it's actually quite simple. For what i was doing right there, i was sitting in the character planner checking out ideas and then i wanted to see how others play that type of build. So i basically i just wanted to see how it plays and how it looks and how annoying the rotation is. Just a sort segment of gameplay like vs a boss or something was all i was looking for. EDIT: my rant is more because so many guides are purely theoretical.
I'm going to give this build a try with my magicka warden. Now, I just need to farm the ice staffs as ofc I only have lightning and fire. 😅 Thank you for the video it has been helpful.
Great guide, as always. I have question - is there a reason to use deep fisure instead of stamina shalks. cuz sometimes its hard to sustain my stamina in like dungeons etc. Theres a lot of stamina cost skills. And, if im understand it right - you need to use spell power potions in that exactly setup?
I don’t really think so anymore. The breaches you don’t need since wall and caltrops or ele sus cover it. If sustain is an issue you have a few options. Medium armor, bull netch, max mag/stam recovery food, or you can swap skills. Caltrops would probably be my first choice.
I'm looking at this for my old warden I haven't played. With Velothi though, I assume you're not weaving light attacks, but trying to always do medium attacks?
@@Nightharrow Really enjoying this build and having fun playing DPS. I ended up replacing trap with a scribed skill. Elemental blast, frost damage, lingering torment, brittle. So much fun! I also didn't want to do pvp to get caltrops, so I went with Lotus, to provide the major prophecy and savagery.
I think it’s a huge mistake and they would be talking out of both sides of their mouth if they made brittleden not viable. I think they occupy a fun and interesting playstyle. I think the real issue is PvE, and so I think they will “fix” the PvP situation by ruining the PvE if they are not careful. ZOS constantly makes bad decisions and shoes that they don’t know their own game like they should l, so I wouldn’t put anything past them.
You say 5 Pieces Medium Armor, 4 with Whorl ? This is a Light Armor Set so i only have 2 Spots Left for Medium Armor with this Setup. Maybe you mean the Glyps ?
I got you. Front bar is masters ice staff, Ice heart monster set, velothi amulet, and whorl of the depths rings and body (any pieces), and 2pieces of medium that give crit damage as their 2-piece bonus like pillar of nirn.
@@Nightharrow How do we determine which sets can be run front barred or on the body? Cause some sets look like they can do both roles front bar and on the body, does the set tell us that you can use it as a front bar or as a body set?
@wildhunter5920 so I’ve recorded a video talking about all of this so look for that out before too long. But the general idea is there is some condition that “procs” or goes off, then that set can be one bared. So a great example of both situations can be found on ansuuls torment. It has an always active buff (ie you want to body it for that) as well as a proc condition (when you interrupt). So that set you want to always body for funk effect. Whorl here can be front barred because it has a proc condition, but we body it with this setup so we can run the masters staff. If you don’t want to, you can run whorl front bar and use some other set on the body. You drop the monster set and 2-piece set in this situation and go with one piece of crit as a monster set.
You could do that but sustain would be rough. You also don’t need minor breach as our wall of elements gives it to us, so we just need the major breach. But we get that single target from ele sus, so it’s really just for aoe fights.
Definitely, in the mean time there is a clean shot at the end of the video or you can find the card in my community tab here on RUclips or a high resolution downloadable version in the discord. Hope that helps!
My favorite build, thanks! Loving how it's strongly themed with flex options like blizzard etc.

Oh that’s interesting. I think that will be familiarity, but follow up if it’s not working well for you after a while, it would be good feedback.

I mean, you could, but no, this uses light attacks as normal, it’s just much less important that you actually weave well.

@Nightharrow I agree for years we wanted a frost mage style and I hate to see it be taken away
Bro love it I know this is old but I used the basic version. No arena gear and used tooth row lol double ice staff and crushed It..
Appreciate it man! And for what it’s worth, builds are lasting longer now so this should still work well.
And yeah, what do you think about frostbite set? i mean pair it with like whorl for dungeons?
I think that works well since it’s an always on set.
One more question 🙈:
Are you using Stamina Glyphs also on some Gear Parts ?
Nope, all mag if you are stacking mag.
Thx for your Quick response 🤘🏻
You say 5 Pieces Medium Armor, 4 with Whorl ? This is a Light Armor Set so i only have 2 Spots Left for Medium Armor with this Setup. Maybe you mean the Glyps ?
Ideally you use 2 pieces of whorl jewelry and then 2 medium pieces for crit.

Correct, because it has a condition where the effect goes off. Once it does, you can bar swap and it will continue to work.
what enchantment goes on Master's Ice Staff?
I like ice for the theming but poison is the typical best in slot.
Why caltrops and not deep fissure major and minor brech in am aoe
You could do that but sustain would be rough.
You also don’t need minor breach as our wall of elements gives it to us, so we just need the major breach. But we get that single target from ele sus, so it’s really just for aoe fights.
Why barbed trap if velothi gives minor force?
It’s still a good dot and provides weapon and spell damage via passives.
