The Fragile is a couple masterpiece. still stands up as one the best produced albums ever. shivers every time I hear it. Simply, Thank you Trent and NIN.
Mostly I've learned to believe that you guys listening to these songs and reading these comments are the only people on earth who I relate with and who get it.
OMG. I have C-PTSD. That piece is a masterpiece. Describes simultaneously all the pure rage and the extreme fragility, the complexity of chaos and the fight for life and justice. That fucking piano kills my heart each time.
This might be my favorite nine inch nails song. No lyrics but a haunting cry slowly churning into that screaming buzz... this whole album is just such a masterpiece to me
Yea NIN is awesome been a fan since I was a young teen! Also I’d throw “With Teeth” into the group! Only, Right where it belongs, Everyday is exactly the same & The hand that feeds are some of my favorite NIN tracks.
For some reason I always forget what a masterpiece this album is until I put it on and can't stop listening. I know reznor lays the despair and anguish on thick but this album sounds so damn desperate. Especially considering what he was going through at the time

I used to put this on and go to sleep listening to this album. Hearing it again after so many years, wakes up that adolescent child I was back then. Feels like a life time ago. This is a weird feeling.
I was in my last year of school when this album came out and it cost me 2 full weeks wages from my part time job and I'm still listening, learning and exploring
This always astonishes me as a simply phenomenal instrumental It needs absolutely no words to carry such a magnificent thunderstorm of sound Every time it comes on I appreciate what an extremely well crafted track this is And it’s on an album absolutely stuffed with equal brilliance
25 years of listening to this and I still love it. I think the Fragile is one of the best albums I've ever heard. I'm 42 now and so much has changed when I first bought and listened to this album at 17 years old.... this is probably one of my favorite songs. It's powerful and the way it builds is epic. A lot of times in the gym I literally have this song on loop just continue to play it.
RUclips is getting fucking ridiculous with these ads now. Literally there's been an ad after each and every track. Even on videos where the entire album is in one video it still somehow knows and you get an ad after every track still. Even on top ten etc. videos there's an ad in between each clip.
I played this track the first time I ever took LSD. It was in my Salvador Dali phase. So that's what I had up all over the walls. Words can't explain what happened next.

CD braucht einen würdigen Nachfolger. Schade, dass sich kaum jemand für die SACD begeistern konnte.
"The world will know that free men stood against a tyrant, that few stood against many, and before this battle was over, even a god-king can bleed."
Its nuts how well the 300 trailer and this song went together
@@0451Jim This song can goes well with any epic war fiction I can think of, maybe even any film about the most important wars in history.
“CHARGE TO FELL THE GOD KING RACE”.
@@irexzilla2392 I think this was a influence on the doom eternal soundtrack.
"You threaten my people with slavery and death!"
47 years old, mortgage, family, and I'm still playing the fucking air guitar to this album. Music can always make us feel young again.
Same man, this was one of my favorite songs to listen to while doing DMT back in the day.

Don’t bother. We aren’t real. Talk to the people who aare close while you can. Only you understand your own mind, and how you interpret the music

Fragile , best album ever !!! I love this track !!! ❤❤❤❤

nailed it
I don't agree it sounds desperate at all. To me it's all about the struggle, strength and hardly fought self-accomplishment.

Holyshit I just realized I feel like I'm too old to love another album this much.

Money well spent
well its been about 23 years and this checks out as a solid, potentially timeless album.

Always seem to forget this track and whenever I come across it I’m just blown away by how impressive it is and how damn good that bass line is.
Trent's soundtrack chops really shine through on this track. Brilliant!
Oh, it goes even deeper...
Yeah, just like you imagined...
