firewalker gauss instead of thermal sunder is really fun for speed and the trail is funny seeing fire everywhere, defs a meme build but still totally sp viable because of kenitic plating. (The duration of firewalker perfectly matches redline and kenitic plating as well, so its super satisfying :D)

My absolutely favorite build for gauss is something similar to speed volt, just going for pure speed and duration, with a little bit of strength and using the helminth speed buff (infested mobility) or fire walker from nezha, all you have to worry about is running around and melee everything you see
glad to see someone who have the same playstyle especially with just using gun. using thermal sunder make your weapon become useless because you rely on your abilities which kinda of burn out for me. i just want to run and gun lol

A better idea is to replace Energized Munitions with his 2 because you can basically shield gate super easily because of his passive + brief respite + recharge delay mods. You just need to constantly have Redline active

The best gauss mix between duration and nuking Brief respite i just use it cus this is a spamable thermal sunder build and if i were hit by electricity i can just spam it over and over till its over, cunning drift,primed continuity,streamline,equilibrium,umbrul intensify,overextended,primed flow,fleeting expertise rank 3 since you only need 170 efficiency,and stretch Arcanes: molt augmented and efficiency 4 red shards duration and one yellow casting speed You can switch out umbral intensify for any other mod if you have molt augmented maxed rank i use intensify cus i only need to get 60 kills to get 100% strength back instead of 200 this build took me to level 1k on zariman youll only have 65 seconds of his redline and kinetic plating but the lower the duration the quicker you reach 100% and the quicker you reach invincibility and full potential thermal sunder
What about running Wrathful Advance? Kinetic Plating boosts your melee base damage by 100%, Redline gives attack speed, and Thermal Sunder armor strips and pulls enemies to you. With the new "hold to melee," you can just meat grinder the enemies.

Thermal Sunder isn't scaling for me, and idk why. I use it repeatedly, and the numbers stay the same. They even go DOWN sometimes. ALSO, when i use the cold multiple times, its not freezing the enemies
Idk what I'm doing wrong, in missions, my HP tends to drain and I can't keep it up with the health and energy orbs. I don't have molt efficiency yet, so I use arcane battery + health conversion instead of flow to both be tanky and have a lot of energy, but my health still tends to tick down from the damage sources that I'm not immune to.
only lazy players don't like this frame :)) if you like to be active, always on the move this frame is perfect .. if you are lazy then play Volt with Terify :)) a problem that many don't understand, is the difference between BATTERY LEVEL and BATTERY CHARGER, if you have a FULL BATTERY UP TO TOP you can give a full armor strip with even 2% BATTERY CHARGE, that percentage when it reaches 100% the BATTERY LEVEL will not decrease no matter if stay on place and us thermal heat until the REDLINE expires

As for thermal sunder; the amount of armor it strips is based on battery level and not ability strength. Besides, heat thermal sunder already scales infinitely thanks to its unique self stacking mechanic, and the cold-on-heat nuke is also buffed by duration. It doesn't really need all that much ability strength to do good damage.

Also add energized munitions instead of thermal sunder and then use an AoE weapon and enjoy :)
I do this with red crit shards and tennokai and it rolls everything from sp to archons 🙏
Also worth mentioning that the order you cast sunder matters.
If you cast Cold then Heat it repells enemies, doing the reverse pulls them

Another Axi farm that I personally enjoy is the Apollo mission on Lua
Olymp on mars and apollo on lua are simply the best to farm
one of the warframes i used the most was gauss. gauss, umbra, and gara prime and garuda prime are my mains, now i gotta work on getting gauss prime
Once youre in SP, i find that energy is never a problem, since his 2 generates energy when you take damage.
Unless that damage is something other than ips, heat, cold, or blast damage. But yeah, it's basically never a problem.

If you struggle with energy with gauss just put archon flow and use cold in thermal sunder
Not quite. Thermal sunder only charges your battery and not energy. You still need energy to fire off 1,2 and 4.

Because duration is far more important, all of the buffs from his redline scale with duration.
