from the twisted series THIS ONE IS MY MOST FAVORITE ONE. I literally worship the two characters. My favorite tropes is enemies to lovers. And this book was so perfect for enemies to lover. The tension the slow burning everything was so perfect. And in some enemies to lovers the characters hates each other for something - like the reason is like so silly. But in this book I didn't feel like that. And as you said it wasn't they hate each others for like a week and boom they're lover. Amd yah ngl Jules backstory was kinda too dramatic. But overall I LOVEEEEEDDD THIS BOOK and I literally WORSHIP THE CHARACTERS xD. My most favorite thing about this book rather than the fact it's enemies to lovers is the arrogant ass, confident, bold characters.
Even me. Fav couple in twisted series. This book felt a bit realistic. Other books are like rich guys, everyone is a billionare or princess. Beh!. Josh and Jules were different! Plot wise there were few things I didn't understand but the chemistry was so good.
I've read them. Each of the books, all are good, but THIS ONE SPECIFIC BOOK is EVERYTHING! I reread it maybe 7 times, it became my comfort book the moment I read it for the first time. It was the perfect book - the characters, the moments, (the hot scenes were written just right).
I have so many thoughts about this book (btw, I didn't read the other before this one). I read this in February and I literally think about it every other week 😭 I absolutely loved the mountain interactions and the hurt/worry trope there and that date at the bookshop when they ran away from Ava and Alex. Also, the whole doctor-law school dynamic and the "let's hide this from your sister" concept is right up my alley so I was in my happy place. HOWEVER, the reason why I keep thinking about this book is also the reason why it's so hard for me to review it and why I don't know where I stand with it. I was absolutely loving it, all my tropes were there and I was having a great time. That is until the whole argument scene where she tells him she was behind the stolen painting because of Max's blackmail. I get that his whole life his trust in people is always broken (his dad, Alex...) and that he's hurt from that still, but what he did was so cruel. I literally had to take a breather after reading that and I felt like it was so out of character. I kinda couldn't get past that afterwards like I loved them as a couple but after what he did I was just so disappointed, especially because he used her insecurities. Even after the whole hospital scene after Max attacks her and they get back together I just couldn't stop being pissed he did that 😔 I agree with you, I really liked the spicy scenes and I didn't feel awkward reading them! They were just well written ✨ Also, 100% agree with this book keeping the hating part for a while, like we don't want them to just be okay with each other like that. The background story was also kind of messy for me ngl. When you said it seemed like it didn't fit her I was like YEESS because that's exactly what i felt too!
Same, I couldn't understand Josh for what he did to Jules either: Also, none of the "lies" Jules mentioned had anything to do with him?? Like it was her past, and Josh wasn't even there for it, and in terms of the present and her dealing with Max herself, there's nothing terribly wrong there... I feel like he was mad just because he was excluded, not even that he couldnt protect her or anything. So weird. Also, his overreaction was extremely terrible. I'm glad Jules called it out to him after, even stating 'what changed? it's only been one week" etc, especially since Josh almost had nothing bad going on for him.. he got over his dad, and was rebonding with his friend and then boom, 100/10 anger and hate on Jules, hurting her when she literally just came back having won her freedom from her past... I couldn't get understand it. I dont think it's healthy if a person can be that extremely toxic that early in the relationship (since the book spans generally around 4 months, then skips)... he basically almost murdered Max and only got away because of his rich affiliations with Alex -- otherwise, he really should've been serving time with his Dad (who's doing 20) for attempted murder..... in a way, he really isnt much better than his dad, despite how wrong Max might've been...
hey!!^^ so i just finished this book! actually i feel that as each new book in the series comes out, it get better and better. for example i do like ava and alex story but its not as great as the rest of them. to be honest from book 1 for me, i wanted to get to jules and josh's story asap lol i thought it would be the most fun to read with lots of tension and anticipation. because it spanned over the last 2 in a way. i did really like book 2 but my fave is definitely jules and josh. i liked how flawed they each were and how they were healing each other compared to the other couples. i do agree in not liking josh at all from book 1 but i knew he would eventually change because of jules especially after the ski trip haha. and their scenes were quite spicy than book 2 i think haha. anyways i loved their story alot and its one i would reread compared to the rest. I have the last one left. looking forward to seeing the tension of christain trying to get with stella haha
This video convinced me enough to pick up the book and read it, I've been in the biggest reading slump after finishing Check & Mate by Ali Hazelwood cause I just loved it so much
I finished this last night and man!. Twisted Love is still my favorite as brothers best friend may be my favorite troupe and I loved how possessive Alex was. I also agree the ending of this book and the thief storyline was unnecessary and what they both did to eachother was fucked up, I really loved this book though, the ultimate enemies to lovers. ❤
You keep talking about things that's not related to the story of this specific book......this is just so upsetting for the people who want to generally get the review of the book......what a waste of time

@@pragnyaraul3321 I agree
Is it true that Josh did SA on her ?
I heard that was the reason people the twisted hate wasn't there favourite book

I am sooooo late to this party and only just started twisted love but have a feeling this one will be my favourite
