I stumbled across Nixorus a while back, and the books I’ve found there are on another level. It’s like discovering a whole new way of thinking that most people miss.
11/22/63 is always my go-to recommendation for anyone whose tastes I don’t know! Everyone loves that book and it’s one of my favorite books of all time!
@@hammadansari4840the show was trash. Especially compared to the book. They added and subtracted things that weren’t in the book. Highly recommend reading it

@@klgreer All right, that sounds promising. What I like about good fiction is when a ton of elements about the world connect together in surprising but sensible ways, like how the one ring makes you visible to the Nazgul, and how the spice likewise is a powerful tool and a crutch.
My husband asked me to read a book and let him know if he’d like it. It’s marketed as time travel but maybe not the kind of sci-fi he’d like. So I’m reading “this is how you lose the time war.”
Yeah I am a guy and it was okay. It’s not really a science fiction (don’t mean it derogatory) but a quirky romance set in vaguely science fiction setting.
Ngl I used to watch you allll the time up until around shortly after your wedding when you slowly started to become a full on booktuber and I’ve lost the inspiration to read (I was a book junkie growing up, even my English teacher would complain about it), so I stopped watching. Now that I’m mustering up the courage to try to get back into it and defeat my laziness, it’s so perfect to come back and watch you again. Thank you Haley, ily and I can’t wait for my reading journey to begin again 🤟🏾💜
I read 11/22/63 when it released in 2011. It stuck with me over the years and I was pretty excited to watch the show when it was released. I recently read it again and it never gets old, about to rewatch the show again! Billy Summers is probably my third favorite, second being IT. I'm glad she knows her books and took a chance on King. I also read all the Red rising books a few years ago and just waiting on the last one to come out! Keep the content coming!
I really enjoyed this video. Your vibe and how you explained the books you read was really sweet and honest. You made me want to read a book even tho i have been on a book slump. (Sorry if the English is not good, its not my first language😅)
I have a recommendation!! White Bird by R J Palacio who is also an author of Wonder. White bird is a story of a grandma who tells her grandson her story. It’s about 1940-1950 in France when h*tl3r was taken over a lot of countries. Also it has a movie! It’s suuuper good!! I highly recommend it
“All Systems Red” by Martha Wells has been a go to recommendation for everyone for me. It’s really short, so it’s not too overwhelming, and if you DO like it and want the option to read more it’s part of a big series. So you can read the one book pretty quick and decide if you want to keep going without having to commit to a 500 page book before deciding.
Just finished A.J Fikry, 1st, thank you for your recommendations.. honestly I have a new love for the way books have awaken emotions that have laid dormant for me for a while.. this book was the first book I’ve read in a very long time… still in my feels lol but it’s happy sad tears.. anyways thank you. The ending is incredible, which is pretty unusual for King novels, but it is because it was actually written by his son lol

Same. I do a reread (or relisten on audible) at least every few years.
I recommend, “Goosebumps: Attack of The Jack - O - Lanterns.” The Halloween atmosphere, and the characters are all great. Give it a try.
A kids book 😂
All of them are amazing and memorable
Goosebumps the scarecrow walks at midnight was my favorite growing up.

You have inspired me to order Red Rising, can’t wait!
Saw red rising in the video you first mentioned it & it took over my life for a month. On book 4
I had mixed feelings about book 1 but if the worldbuilding gets more interconnected later I'd try the rest.
@@klgreer All right, that sounds promising. What I like about good fiction is when a ton of elements about the world connect together in surprising but sensible ways, like how the one ring makes you visible to the Nazgul, and how the spice likewise is a powerful tool and a crutch.
Red Rising is soo good. I like book 2 and 3 the most also 4 and 5 are also very good. 1 and 6+ are good but not as good as the rest.
Waiting for the final book
If you like Red Rising, you'll likely enjoy Christopher Ruocchio's Sun Eater series. They get compared frequently, although I've never read Red Rising
11/22/63, for how big the book is, was one of the fastest reads I've ever experienced. Great recommendation! I'll definitely check out Bill Summers.

Ouu, a time travel Sci-Fi book series that I find awesome is the Impossible Times trilogy by Mark Lawrence.
