Reminds me of a NDE I heard awhile ago, a lady met Jesus in a Nature Like Heavenly Realm. She realized that what He was all about was so simple. She said that we have a tendency to over complicate it on earth.

As much as I like Alex Ferrari, Jeffmara and Emilio Ortiz to name a few, I do not appreciate the clickbait-y titles they do on occasion. What is more off putting to me is the politicization, the money-grubbing marketing and grifting of spirituality. The moment a content creator starts shoving politics, materialisms and a sales pitch into every single video, things I try to stay away from, I turn it off. Simple as.

I had an experience decades ago that I have never forgotten …….. “everything you need to heal (evolve, etc.) is contained within your being”. And I have been with that as the years went by and it led me on my own inner journey. Not always easy or pleasant but ultimately it brought me home to myself, the ultimate gift.

Your message of “just love one another” is very simple, but it can be difficult for us to learn. We are programmed to not believe in simplicity. I’ve been enjoying your videos for their simple message. Years ago, I had a “revelation” that it was all about love. I’d gotten away from that simple message and it makes things more difficult. I can not bring myself to share things that does not ring 100% with my inner truth either. Everyone must do what feels right for them of course but that is how I resonate. ❤
I think that new age spirituality has become over-complicated and sensationalized. I don't understand what they're talking about. I'm an editor; I like simplicity.
Ambient Music, a.k.a., New Age Music...has had a profoundly positive experience upon me as a Christian. The imagination the music evokes in my mind helps me consider a good God, one Who works thru all things to help us in life. It has actually saved my mind and point me to a kinder God.
Frequency and Cymatics, its a Thing. You should give specific frequencies a go, like in the binaural beats category, if you haven't already. I have been checking out some of those myself lately. I have issues with my heart, so I was searching for chakra frequency music or other healing Hertz frequencies. Same thing, more intention. Its hard for me to sit and have a listening session though.
Frequency is actually something I can believe in, lol!
If you are not familiar, the binaural beats are supposed to aid with synching the two hemispheres of the brain and need headphones, but things like Selfeggio frequencies can just be played through any speaker.(I know I spelled that wrong but too lazy to correct this one)
Thank you for making such valid points on what’s happening with You Tube “spirituality” channels. I’ve always sensed that your intentions are pure, and as you mention, there’s an inherent simplicity in real truth. I sense this in your voice, demeanor and smile ! I also sense the opposite in countless others who have You Tube channels , many of whom are making big bucks and forming cliques with others of similar motivations. This must help to justify and glamorize their “status” to each other. Thank you for being true to yourself and sharing your truth with us! ❤
Discernment is key on anything we watch or read. I think it depends where one beliefs systems lay or to be open enough to hear others point of view; it doesn't mean you have implement it in ones life. Take what you need and leave the rest or respect it as someone's else's point of view. We can always turn the channel if it offends or is fearful to us. That's my two cents. Thank John! Ciescape

Well said. Feer sells because people feel the need to get rid of it. However there is no other way to get rid of fear but love. All the spirituality teachings around fear can be summarised in one sentence: "We are immortal, so what are you afraid of other than love?"

For the first time last week I had to actually drop a spiritual channel. The person doing the channeling for a specific sitter, took what was given to that individual and acted as if it applied to everyone, Basically an idea of "what if it only gets worse?" .....FULL STOP. If another person listening in was depressed and was looking for hope they were not going to get it. Putting a 2 second note saying if this bothers you do not listen... Is irresponsible for a channeler. John... Nice job! My point listen to what is said and do not follow blindly.

Thanks, John, and Good show! The simplicity of loving, the concept of "do no harm", and forgiveness, are the all in all in seeking /finding the God within. No fear mongering, no dogma, no doctrines, no religion, no "bad" entities, no doomsday, no demons, and no hexes/ generational curses. I have just eliminated a large number of postings on you tube, and face book. There is only love that is needed. The path is simple, not an exhaustive, extensive effort. And no secret conspiracies, or truths. If a child can get it, it is simple. You, and Neale Donald Walsch, are my main sources for the spiritual life, and my life is developing in ways I would not have thought possible 2 years ago. Some of these huxsters turn seekers off totally. So I hope this, that I write to you, helps them. Thank you again, my dear brother, and may love and peace cover you.

I completely agree. Discernment is the keyword right now as a recovering Catholic. I was watching all sorts of things, but it always made me just cringe when it was like Clickbait so then I knew to turn away whether it was legitimately helpful or not. I think we’re all looking for validation and one way or another but trusting yourself is is kind of the hardest lesson to learn. I’m still learning.
Fear is the opposite of love. God is love and we are called to love.

Hi John. Simplicity is how I've always believed God's Way is. It's deep, profound, yet simple, accessible, available. No need to sit this or that way, or practice certain ways in order to reach something that already is within me. Nothing wrong if that works, but been there done that.
I learned something really useful for me through my studies with A Course in Miracles. The 3 Rs: Recognize (my thoughts/beliefs), Release (the ones that do not feel authentic or loving) Replace (with what I feel is Truth). It's about going within for me. And I enjoy to the max your videos, as they are like a loving and sharing conversation. No fluff. Just down to earth. Thank you!!!

I see examples of exactly what you describe. I also see other examples that I believe come from love. I listen to many perspectives because I sometimes gain an insight I hadn't considered. Some ring true, some don't. Even on channels I love, I stop videos if the message doesn't harmonize. Stopping and moving on when I disagree is my preference. In the past, I've felt obliged to add "my insight" or "to enlighten" if I disagree. I've stopped that approach because even small misunderstandings or disagreements on social media can create drama and personal attacks. We say things online we would never say in person. My skin is not thick enough to do what you do - there are a lot of mean comments when you have a public persona. Keep sharing your insights and love. Even on the same topic, you often give different stories or techniques that I may not have heard in a previous message. I have learned much from you and continue to share your insights and techniques with my family and friends.
John, you have stripped me down to just Jesus. I no longer believe all the Christian dogma. He was a kind, loving man, teaching love of everyone. My goal now is only to love. I’m struggling with all the hate flying around today, but l understand the goal.

I follow a couple RUclipsrs who started out pleasant enough but they changed their format and titles towards the fear based click bait. It’s frustrating when they pivot away from their original model. John’s channel helps me cleanse away those other click bait titles of other channels leaving me feeling balanced again. Please do NOT ever change your format or video titles

Thank you John, all that you said is true. I get sad at the state of the world but your words about living in the present and being kind brought me back to what’s truly important. I am about to adopt two beautiful dogs from the Humane Society in honor of all the ones that blessed me with their love and loyalty. Dogs love unconditionally and live happily in the present. I used to follow a spiritual RUclipsr who I recently found out is a theosophist. She is very very eloquent which draws you in but the messages are based in fear and ascending the hierarchy etc. (very dogmatic) I intuitively felt this to be wrong for me (but fear has a way of pulling you) then I discovered that Rudolph Steiner (who she consistently references & preaches in high regard) was a racist and incorporated that into some of his teachings 🤢 so that was it for me 🙅♀️🚫
now looking back I can see clearly that she talked in absolutes like there is no questioning her authority & her beliefs are 100% correct… taught me a lesson in discernment 😅 now I take others’ perspectives with a grain of salt & I’m focusing on following myself more instead of others

Ya toates agree, lol - it’s getting harder to find folks that are just real like yourself - i was thinking of attending this “consciousness” conference, to be around like minded people but it just seemed a bit off, idk it didn’t sit well with me and then i thought why do i want to be around people that think like me, I limit myself to growing and discovering new things, so it’s decided I don’t need conferences or workshops just to be around a like minded community- i just be myself, look within for the truth and enjoy the beautiful range of diverse thoughts and ways of being but just living authentically - now to figure out what my authentic self looks like 😂 oh dear

What gets me is how people jump so quickly into anger and hate because they dont understand ...or ...what another says challenges their lifetime (cemented in) beliefs. Instead of just saying "thats not for me" and moving on, they make it a crusade to defend their own position. I've listened to hundreds of RUclipsrs with all kinds of ideas and opinions as well as conspiracy theories. In the end I listen then bring it back to myself. I ask, "How does any of this fit with my understandings of the nature of love expressed?... is it creating more fear or does it enhance my sense of being love expressed in the world?"
Its a pretty good yard stick. 💜
Three cheers for this video. I have fallen for many click-bait videos. When played some impart an overwhelming sense of fear and anger. One channel features a very angry guy who is a racial minority. He has so much rage that I fear for him. I stopped falling for click bait videos which promote fear and anger.

My journey has changed my relationships in many areas of my life…career, finances, health and my family. I struggle with family dynamics. I have 3 biological adult children and 7 adult step children. All are on very different paths, but haven’t had an awakening yet… at least to my knowledge…sometimes it’s difficult to have family gatherings with the infiltration of negativity and judgement that comes with differences in outlook. How does one manage that ..in your opinion?

In my personal opinion ... All roads lead to God. Eventually everyone will get there. That said ... I have been ridiculed and hurt since childhood (I'm 66 now) for my steadfast knowledge that "God's Love is unconditional". I do not believe in Hell or God's vengeance. I would gleefully accept a dollar for every time I was asked "So you believe Hitler went to Heaven?!" My answer is always the same "I believe Josef Mengele went to Heaven". What really sets Catholics and Christians on a verbal rampage is when I declare "I don't need Jesus. I have God." I'm sure you can hear the outraged replies. I simply respond with their words "Jesus said 'If you are lost, follow me. I will show you the way.' I'm not lost. God hasn't lost me." It doesn't end there but you know that. Jon, God does work in mysterious ways. The Aliens theory is wonderful! Come on!!! They MacGyver a rock, a grain of sand, a piece of pottery adhered with a gum wrapper, a paperclip and it morphs into Other Advanced Worldly Beings that built pyramids and waged war in our sky. It puts a smile on my face; which I consider is a little gift from God. I'm sure there is life out there. Did / have they come to earth? IDK and I don't care. Honestly, given the choice I would rather people believe in advanced Aliens than a vengeful God that you must fear and suffer under. Hurts my heart knowing so many chose to believe God is ugly. Anyway, that was a long explanation for me asking you to please be a little forgiving on the Alien theories. The smallest of joyful smiles is a gift 💝

I have watched the theories on Jesus being an Egyptian God and God being an Alien etc. I find them amusing on how they piece together their proof. Hence my MacGyver reference. Is this person using fake sensationalism just to make money? In my opinion the answer is Yes. I don't care because it makes me smile. When I experience days when I'm morose/sad/hurt; I will YT something that will cheer me up. It could be Uncle Roger fried rice reviews or Dimash MV or a MacGyver theory of Mary in France giving birth, etc. I was only asking you to be a little forgiving because some of us do know it's marketable rhetoric. The feeling I get when I click on one of the click bait videos and find out that the content doesn’t match the title, is betrayal. The same betrayal when I found the religion I was raised in was a lie. Having said that, I did find you, John, through Alex Ferrari’s channel. I too noticed the title change of your interview on Alex’s channel, it leaves a bad taste, it steers me away from his channel asking the question, every time I watch one of his videos, if he is lying with the title then where else is he lying? I like Alex but I find you to be far more your genuine self. I believe that when people lie to bait a person in, it is a lie regardless, self-justification is lying to oneself. The only reason why anyone would use a click-bait title, etc. is to trick/fool someone into visiting the channel under the intent of self-justification. It is a tough one. I am not judging Alex, or the other channels,, by saying they are bad, my reaction to this action is me not trust them… with my soul’s journey.
I unsubscribed from several channels this past week because of their dramatic titles that don't match the content. Disappointed that they can't be authentic.
Perhaps they are planting seeds to get to a wider audience. That's fine. I don't want to be drawn to their content by sensationalism.
The only thing I hear about new age spirituality is how people left that demonic practice and came to Christianity/Jesus. I guess they think they're doing better.
So they went back to believing in demons? Doesn't sound good to me
