Reminds me A LOT of my Can Am 400.
Yeah, the orange and the rotax. I can see that
The center stand is for changing tires quickly during the ISDT
I didnt know that but I don't understand why they just don't lay it on it's side, gotta find a smooth level surface to use the center stand if changing a wheel
@@bullpencycles they do it in the impound area at the end of each day and they can do pads and shoes etc all right there they have 15 minutes in the evening 15 minutes in the moring to work on the bike all work must be done by themselves with the tools they carry
Hey I bet there;'s good chance you knew my buddy Colin that made gaskets for Bultaco etc. for many years. He had a great collection.
I dont think so, but thanks for checking in.
Damn, that thing is HUGE!!!😮😮😮
Yup. Freaking huge
I remember these beauty Italian bikes that were used in enduro,s in Australia they were trick looking bikes back then and this motocrosser looked great back then I would have loved to own these beautifull beasts of glory
Yeah, I found a guy that actually raced a 440! Amazing!
Awesome machine! Hope you checked the air box ? I had a 320 trials in the mid 90s and traded it for a lawnmower ! I know
You know, that's true! Gotta check the airboxes which tend to hold water. Is that what happened with yours?
Cool bike, that's one I had not heard of. Did they have a US distributor and a dealer network?
Back then, I'm sure someone brought them in but I dont know who or when. There were so many niche brands.
I dont imagine they sold too many back in the 70s and 80s in the US but ever since the 2014 Ressurgence, I believe they do.
Hi Dave
I thought swm didnt have carburetor when i was younger my friend had one.
Hmm, I dont know of any bike without a carburetor unless its fuel injected, but sometimes the carburetor is hiding under a crankcase cover
@@bullpencycles It had a disk on the right side mounted on crank shaft with holes feeding the cylinder gas will travel on top of the cylinder to top of the piston.
Morini camel has center stand 😊
That's another rare one!
I have an SWM 370 trials bike...Torque monster! 😎
Nice!!
You need to be half man half beast to operate that thing.
Yeah, I don't think I resemble that remark!
How did you make out with all the heavy rain and storms down there in Florida?
Missed it mostly where I live. Thanks for asking
Sounds Mean 😮
Yeah, I'm thinking that, but I just spoke with a fellow that actually raced one! Amazing!
Old men & big bores 😂
My Maico 490 gives me the 💩 when starting. Add to that on walking stick today as genny shoveled backfired & soft side boot. 🤬
Look foward to swap meet. 👍
Totally understand. Make for a lot to be said for the gold ole 250cc
@@bullpencycles Hence why building a 74 250 Pursang.👍
are you going to sell that bad boy?
yes. But I already took a deposit on it.
We used to call the Maico the Maico Breako. They were very unreliable.
Yeah, they are kinda their own thing!
