Unbelievably cool ! It looks as though you really have to get a feel how to ride it...with all the subtle adjustments you have to make, for optimum performance....great vid, thanks for making it and posting it.
You get the hang of it after 25 or so years riding it. The NSU 2 speed pulley looks easy but you need to be an octopus as you really need 2 hands on the bars when taking off.
Old vintage bike engine sound is way to hassle, heavier, loud and noisy in todays' standard as velocity was not a priority back to those days but OLD is definitely GOLD. The earliest technology can be mind-blowing sometimes.
You can send it back to factory in England and demand a restore! Triumph should design a new one with such a retro points. Let's say 100 cc. Very nice to see a bicycle engine. This would be a farrrrr retro to modern times. Iconic. Nice video.
The wedge bolt that stops the handlebar stem from pulling out is completely missing. Is it only held in by rust. The bike and video is a pleasure to see and a more advanced machine than some from much later .
Nice! I have got one of these antique steampunk looking engines (with Burman 2speed gearbox) but it has been stolen from my barn 😢 Now I have some motorized bicycles from 1950s-70s and one modern chinese but they are 2-stroke
I would love to take a bike like this. Mod it just enough so I can carry camping gear and extra fuel and travel the back roads from Nebraska, Wyoming to Montana.
Yes it can be pedalled but you would have to take the belt off or it would be too hard to pedal turning over the motor even with the decompressor lifted.
Basically, the steering is the same, just heavier duty to cope with the increased weight. Also there is a spring arrangement at the top of the forks that was Triumph's idea to deal with the rough roads. In fact it just elongates the wheelbase and makes it like riding a greyhound dog!! 😮😊
Ma Triumph n'est pas très rapide car j'ai gardé le moteur d'origine. D'autres en Australie ont modifié le leur avec des composants différents pour obtenir plus de vitesse.
I love how old motorcycles were basically just bicycles with giant engines on them
Whoa dont get carried away with the adjectives....
Let's just go with "bicycles with engines"
@@markvickroy6725 or just cyclemotors
Or just Motorized Bicycle
Or just like my 2023 Phatmoto All-Terrain.

I love how it wiggles and jiggles like a vehicle in an old cartoon. It's got quite a bit of character and charm!

@@davidradloff4776How fast does it go???
@@patriotwarrior_556 You can get up to about 80 km per hour but stopping is the problem
I would like to know how the speed pulley works
I liked watching the odometer click off the distances. Great survIvor bike. Kudos.
These parking moves, this physical dance! This Triumph lives and you hear, see, smell, feel and enjoy it 👍!
I really enjoyed watching this, thank you.
Thanks for the ride bud!👍

She sounds so good!
Ultra Cool. I thank you for posting this.
Judging from the terrain going by you must be running somewhere in the neighborhood of 60 km per hour
Amazing. Absolutely amazing. I’m wordless.
That’s great - a solid runner 110+
Awesome old bike , thanks
Way cool ,that belt adjustment would be fun stoplight to stoplight ,enjoy this old girl !
Glorious, man and machine in pure harmony!
What it lacks in speed its got in charm thats for sure!
Man,she doesn't miss a beat...wow!
@@jorgegarcia-wy2gd yes she is actually very reliable

Is that Triumph doing about 40 ISH? Sounds like it would trundle along all day. Brilliant .🇬🇧👍
Yes, 40 to 50 km/hr but my Triumph has the early screw on Carburetor which chokes the motor a bit.
Thank you very much for sharing very cool
Very cool to see running
Beautiful Pease of machinery
So eine alte Triumph würde ich auch gerne mal fahren, bzw. wenigstens im realen Leben mal laufen sehen.
Nice bike!

Woooow❤ so, so great🎉 and it is wisper quiet 😂
@motooilermotooiler9597 Thanks, it really goes quite well and is fun to ride.
Great video. Can the machine be pedalled like a pedal cycle, say in the event of engine failure?
Yes it can be pedalled but you would have to take the belt off or it would be too hard to pedal turning over the motor even with the decompressor lifted.
Surely tank panels were green they are on mine, look at hands on bonniksen speedo
Wow I love it
There is no fear of drink driving a bike like that, you wouldn’t even get it started 😂 What a great bone 🦴 shaker
Thanks😀
A variable speed clutch/tranny???? I can go to heaven with a smile on my face. Thanks with a sub/likie from the future 3 years.
Thanks, it is very entertaining to ride.
I presume that the steering design is changed from the bicycle??

Yes, you are are very observant. Although I make it look easy, it does require a bit of skill and forethought.😊
