- THIS KIT IS A BLAST to RIP AROUND! What better way to break in a new LUXURY TANK KIT then to take it out in the woods and throttle down! I have been wanting to get this tank out in action for SO LONG on the trail.. and finally I was able to get it done today, with the help of my lovely wife. We headed out into the woods to get some sloppy action of this luxury style tank (featured in the FAST AND THE FURIOUS) - and see what it can do in NATURE!
A full size RIPSAW is custom made, and can vary in price - but you can expect to pay at least $385,996 USD for one. A 1/10th scale version KIT is a MUCH Better bargain at about $1000 USD. They also offer an RTR version at a slightly higher price. I remember when Richard Hammond from GRAND TOUR first drive the RIPSAW around the streets of Dubai. He loved that he was driving a high-end luxury super tank. The full size version came with air conditioning, adjustable heated and cooled seats, winches, a light bar, and a "Thunderbird-style" steering wheel. Well.. the 1/10th version comes with almost all of that.. just the air conditioning is natural, and the adjustable heated / cooled seats are not an option. HAH! "PiG STUDiO" has come up with this fascinating likeness of the full size version that comes in kit form. I was fortunate enough to score one from a visit I had to Hong Kong back in 2016. Don't get me wrong.. this kit is BRAND NEW to market as of 2019.. and I am one of the very few lucky enough to demonstrate today.

What a beauty. Needs tracks with traction to really grab and tactal all the terrains. Thanks for the great video and "following" the new RUclips rules, because where would any of us be without RC Adventures, Medic, Jem, and Moe.
That looks like a lot more fun, and more capable than I imagined it would be. I really like the suspension setup on there. Very neat! Also very nice that the kit came with the brushed motors. I bet that was a fun build. I'll have to skim thru your channel to see if there is a build video. I'd like to see that. Later...

The suspension is amazing.
I think the main issues is that the track itself is pretty slick, not really gripping in the wood well.
My son is 11 and is upset now because he thinks he shouldn’t be watching this and I told him it’s just stupid RUclips and medic making sure he does and says the right things but you tube is getting pretty ridiculous!! Thank you medic for making awesome videos through all the bullshit!!! Still our favorite channel!

The original version of this tank was the riptide and was meant to be amphibious but it failed the test for the us army on the drivesystem from the watejet 😉 maybe in rc its possible 😜

I have a tracked vehicle that I built from bits and pieces. I used my qx7 radio and mapped it to run throtle on the left stick and steering on the right stick. It made it so much easier to drive.
I love the RC techy stuff. Make a vid showing the FlySky firmware update problem I'm sure you might save a lot of people some money and frustration!

Lol! love this vid! witht he track falling off like that, I'm surprised that the designer didn't also include the tensioner spring to keep the treads taunt & prevent them from falling off like that.
There is a tensioner Sir.. its just that the tank is small in scale.. so its difficult to keep the tracks on

If you put a really small cheap speed controller on the light bar you can use it as a switch to turn it on and off with the transmitter

You need to make a wheelie bar for it if you want to climb over tall roots
