The script for Time of the Angels haunts me. The Doctor seeing River and being consistently haunted by his memories of her death in the library is heartbreaking. I'm glad we got the version that we did though.

We should make this a weekly thing, put them all in a randomiser and then we just go insane

@@adamntcaponewholikesbigcoo1749 If Infinite Quest and/or Dreamland is on there, I'd be very interested to see it. It would be cool to look at the difference between a script for a live action show and an animated one.

I read through a few and some stray observations were -
Chibnall is excellent at writing set pieces ala 42 and Resolution. Clear visual language, paced and described excellently for directors. No wonder his run looked so good.
Vincent and the Doctor reads wildly differently. It's very prose-y.
The Impossible Planet is an incredibly written script just on the page, almost Stephen King-esque.

So what have we learned? Sacha does have moves and the actors in the Cyber/Dalek costumes understand the monsters perfectly

I follow a script writing course and it's very interesting to learn all these steps and techniques, because there is so much that comes into a crafting a good script.

Yeah the whole thing about not including directions/shots in scripts is weird to me, we were told not to do it for draft scripts, but to do it for shooting scripts. But then another lecturer was confused when we told him we had been told this bc he saw them in drafts all the time. And like. Both of these lecturers worked part time in the film industry while lecturing so idk why we were told this.

The exact thing ourscreenwriting professors ( who both had worked in the industry ) told us is that often times a director would ignore such directions in the script so only to use such descriptions sparingly if at all.

I need to read legend of the sea devils. It surely can't be as broken as the actual episode.

End of series 2 Doomsday episode = the same day as series 5 Big Bang.
(This why that part is missing)
as it contains wordings that spoil it is the end of the classic whoniverse.
    Its Doomsday.
Everything EXACTLY inbetween Donna was a bride in Doomsday & End of time is set within the new (Doomsday/Big bang) Whoniverse.
There are a ton to this above but inshort every time something wedding related was on screen in an episode =TARDIS switches whoniverse as depicted in the intros.
TARDIS switched whoniverse twice in Eleventh hour.
    (Wedding dress in Eleventh hour.)
Engagement ring, wedding cake etc etc thruout series 5.
=Amelia & Amy not the same whoniverse.
Remembering each other lives due to timevortex energy leakage from thier cracks in thier walls.
as said there is a ton more to this above....
like everything....for more then 1 whoniverse...
it leads even to whom our Doctor is.
the 1973 Doctor Tyler; Rose Tylers brother Toni "Doctor" Tyler
This is the other part why Doomsday pages are missing..

It being a US co-production probably makes the rights more complicated.
