Those are where the screws go in from the back. The gold plating helps prevent them from having issues with screws like the NK65 which didn’t have metal plating so sometimes the plastic around the screws would break
I know this video is quite old but where did you get the Korean keycaps in the intro to the video? I am looking to build a keyboard for my father who mainly types in Korean. I found that Korean aftermarket keycaps all seem to be out of stock and few and far in between. Thank you!
Yup, most of the times they’re run in gbs like this one. If you’re looking for something in stock, try looking at enjoypbt korean keycaps. Hope you find and build something cool for your father!
What the difference build quality yc66 vs kbd67 lite? I know it's different case and layout, just consider would GB r2 (waiting 2 months), bought r1 with flip price, or yc66
There's a sound comparison of the r1 kbd67 lite, r2 kbd67 lite, and the nk65 on mechmerlin's channel that absolutely confirms the sound is far superior on the kbd67s. Did you decide to remove the standoffs on your unit? I know you mentioned it in the video, but I don't remember seeing it.
