Video was very helpful in programming key fobs I bought over a year that I couldn’t get to work. It was almost effortless. Many thanks to you for posting this video!
Amazon Customer Review Instruction on reprogramming 2003 - 2007 Nissan Murano Key Fob: Note: You must have all remotes on hand when performing this procedure. Any remotes not used during this procedure will become inactive. 1. Close and lock all doors with the driver’s side power lock switch located on drivers door panel. 2. Insert key into ignition (DON’T TURN) and remove it from the ignition key cylinder at least 6 times within 10 seconds (this will need to be done at approximately one second intervals). You may need to insert and remove the key up to 10 or 12 times until your hazard lamps flash. PLEASE NOTE: Withdraw key completely from ignition cylinder each time. If this procedure is performed too fast or too slow the system will not enter programming mode. 3. Insert key into ignition and turn to the ACC position. 4. Within 5 seconds, push the LOCK button on the keyless remote. Your hazard lamps will flash. PLEASE NOTE: Do not press the button on the remote more than one time or the programming will not be successful. 5. If there are any remaining remotes (including working ones), Unlock then Lock all doors using the switch on drivers door panel. Within 5 seconds of locking and unlocking doors press LOCK button on the next remote. Your hazard lamps will flash. Repeat this step for each remote (including any working remotes). 6. When all remotes have been programmed turn the key to the OFF position, remove keys from the ignition, unlock doors using the driver’s side power lock/unlock switch and open the driver side door. Test all remotes.
Tried on 2006 Murado today, never gotten hazard light to blink to start programming after a few tries. Car system might have something wrong or blown fuse.
Yeah, I know how to cut keys, I use to cut keys for apartments. I just don't have the machine. Hardware store shouldn't charge more than a dollar or so per key
I have a question. The key fob broke and we lost it but we do actually have the key that went inside of it so we can drive the vehicle but we don't have the actual key fob. If we buy another one can we reprogram that? Thank you for your time
Hazard flashers can be turned off in the settings on the console. Check that out and if you have a moisture issue like I had the flasher setting may be compromised. Mine just started working and the horn.
Was wondering if you could help btw... My mother in law was ripped off... lost her fobs to her 06 nissan murano SL... she lost the original key and the fob but has the old door/spare/emergency keys that go into the fob but no fob... she changed out the ignition for whatever reason... Called a "locksmith"(friend) and ordered the (iLCO) NI04T blank transponder key as well as new key fobs from Amazon (they are still uncut) ... the "locksmith" got the NI04T transponder key cut to the new ignition and CLAIMED he programmed it... the car turns over but the won't start and according to him he was "charged for reprogramming the key" so therefore it was a successful program... she paid him too even tho when he left the car still will not start... I think she feels silly because she keeps saying "no he programmed it so i had to pay because he was charged for it on his thing" lol After checkin it out... every key will turn the car over either forwards or backwards... the new ones the old ones and even the new and old door key will turn the ignition over... but it still won't start... Using the transponder key and every other key i tried programming it by locking the door pushing the key in and out 6-10 times...wait for the hazards (they don't come on) turn ignition to acc lock door again blah blah and nothing works... so obviously the "locksmith" didn't actually program anything right?... My assumption is he didn't do shit we need to bring the key to nissan to program it!?
An Honest locksmith will program the keys and make sure they work. You probably can't program the FOB's without a programmed key. You have to use a code reader plugged into the car to get the code and program the key over their frequency. I'm sorry to hear about the crooked locksmith but hopefully you can find a reputable locksmith to fix your problem. Nissan will charge A LOT to program the keys and fobs and will use the same locksmith you can get so don't just pick the cheapest but the most to loose if they don't do it right. Don't pay until the car starts, it HAS TOSTART or it's not programmed. Good Luck!
Basically she's a "do it herself" old school lady and as admirable as it is often times she just DOES things... and often it's the wrong way or at best the hard way. Lol... She lost her FOB so to save money she installed a new ignition then ordered the transponder key and some uncut after market fobs/with key but couldn't figure it out and called a friend/locksmith to do it... he plugged in his computer...said he programmed it and charged her 100$ because he said that he was charged a fee by nissan or for using the program... like i said she has all the original keys but lost the fob and non of the new keys or fobs are programmed... do we have to tow it to the dealership or call a legit locksmith that can actually do it and just pay whatevwr? Pretty much the only option i reckon?

Yes, it worked. I had to do put it into the ignition more than 10+ times before I was able to get it programmed.

OMG!!! I will save myself a lot of mula..Great video!!!
Bonjour... J'insère la clé six à 10 fois mais je n'ai pas les flash de clignotant.
@@WillDeeps bonjour, avez vous trouvez la solution ? Merci
Thank you!!!
Can you start it with the fobs inside?
You need a special module for that.
DIY sure is cheaper. Seems you got a great bargain. Now if you could cut your own keys, it'd be the ultimate 'doing it cheap'.
Yeah, I know how to cut keys, I use to cut keys for apartments. I just don't have the machine. Hardware store shouldn't charge more than a dollar or so per key
@@Jsellers1965 I used to cut keys when I worked at the Ben Franklin dime store. They closed, now we go to the True Value.

Yes, I got mine off amazon and they are on ebay as well
Supported u back
I have a 2007 Nissan Murano with 191,000 miles
Some odd reason the key fob will not cause the hazard flash and don't reprogram. Any ideas?

I tried that it doesn't work what do
Quick question can you program just the key not the fob
Keys for this car have to be done by locksmith or dealer.
hey hey
Got my key remote from a Amazon. It was like $6
link for remote

Anyone know how to do it on an 06 Bluebird?
Will this reprogram the ignition start as well?
I'm wondering same thing
Sucks we can't program the KEYS. Dealer said $140.00 to program just the KEYS.
