cool little boat, the downsides are you have to wear a lifejacket at all times the boat is underway due to the length being under 16'. Only other thing would be absolutely no room if using for duck hunting, by the time you got 1 buddy, decoys, dog, guns etc it would be very tight. Also I could be wrong but from experience a boat that short with a 40 would have a bad porpoising problem without the addition of tabs on back
