The “Why So Serious “ is a great name for a boat. If you don’t get a mud boat stuck every now and again you aren’t trying hard enough. Lol Keep smashing!
That`s why they call them Airboat Trails. I used to run them in my Airboat now I run some of the one that have Water in them with my Go-devil Long Tail. some Airboaters hate it. Enjoyed it guys
We take out mud boat out to lake Kissimmee too ! Have ya taken it in the marsh when the water is high ? Our buddy did, got on some dry land and jeeze it was a work out ! We love our mud boat ( go Devil 18x60 with a 40 fnr, center console). Great times ! Good video! I got a video on the history of the milk bus check it out 👍🏼 Be careful in them airboat trails, these boats sit low and with out a flag they can see ya. Nice airboater to help ya ! When the water was down several years ago we got stuck in dead river. Y’all had a good day for sure !
@@MrT13 Not trying to argue but ive pulled my 18/54 xpress with full catwalks and compartments with a 13 gallon tank and a front battery in the hull in an inch of water on hard bottom mud when they opened the locks on the lake and let it get super low at one of my blinds second split. I drug it a mile back to the mouth of the river. My buddy and I pulled his 18/60 in a similar circumstance. If there is any bit of water you can tilt pin it up and drag it. It isn't fun but it is doable especially with multiple people. You can take 3/8ths sucker rod and jam it in the mud and use a come along and hand wench a boat like that with no water to be honest. Obviously a tree works better but it's been done. A 40xd weighs about 300 lbs or a little more a 50hp outboard weighs close to 600. Those gator tail hulls that are 16 feet or so aren't as heavy as you think, especially with a hollow bow deck.
@@forcemajeur.5138I think we would’ve got it back going in a few minutes lol… but calling dad to bring his airboat makes for a better video… I can drag my 1440 long tail on dry ground, alone.
@@MrT13 Oh yeah I wasn't trolling I actually enjoyed the video, Yall definitely could have pulled it with that many guys but who doesn't love airboats lol I was just clarifying because there are a lot of older "purists" (at least around my parts) that I've listened to bitch for years about how heavy surface drives are when their outboards are at least double the weight and they all have an outboard and change boats into their long tails (so have to buy two boats) to get out to their blinds when it is shallow. When a SD negates having to do that. But if you aren't getting stuck whats the point. To be honest, idk if yall have pulled the stock rear tilt pin and put it at the bottom on the back and slid a mercury quick tilt pin back into the higher holes but it lets you change the trim angle drastically for situations like that on the fly. But those 40s with a good 2 blade will jump on plane in a 5 foot puddle especially if you tilt the motor down to the lowest hole in the back. An old cajun trick I picked up.
Man having some one his age to take yall out on his duckboat like that is invaluable. Being that yall are from florida ya better be asking him to take yall out to kill some ringnecks and gadwall in the fall
Been torn between going gator tail or gator trax (first boat). one thing I cant stand about gator tail is that support bar. have you noticed it being an issue? feel like it would be a trip hazard.

Thanks I've been searching mud motors all night now I've completely changed my mind and want an airboat
What seat is that at the 7:30 mark? Want to buy 2 for my mud boat
Bad ass airboat!!!
Definitely. Swamp Monkey to the rescue
Just push it, oh wait that’s right. You guys wanted a 1000lb boat lol.
They could have pulled that boat back to water easily. That hull isn't that big or heavy.
@@forcemajeur.5138I disagree. But ok.
