Ben did nothing in the game except winning the immunity to get to final 3. Otherwise he was only famous for his night terrors and knowing Metallica songs.😂
Liz said she was already a millionaire in a confessional last night.
Maria lost a lot of respect for me. I believe that whoever the jury voted for deserves to win that season, but that was just gut-wrenching. To play the whole game with him KNOWING he had so much more agency than Kenzie and turn around and say “the fire in her glasses is what did it for me” TOTAL B.S.
My personal strategy from a male perspective is you have to manage the jury to have fewer women so that they cannot use their emotions to give the money to a woman no matter what if you expect to win 😂

@@Fantasy_GAINS If there is only 3 women and five men in the jury versus what happened this week their emotions don’t matter. I games out this whole season at the start of the show and I came up with Kenzie as the winner of Jelensky was the 1st boot which happened exactly as described.

I don't believe maria. I think she was bitter. Plus to say when you made fire. So nothing Charlie or Ben could say to win her vote and that is wrong. Charlie said she initially said she regretted voting for kenzie and changed her mind again when it came time to do press.
Maria was bitter, bottom line. She heard at Ponderosa he was gunning for her earlier, which wasn't the case of that particular vote. Maria has a huge ego. There are many examples of it if you rewatch.
I think it’s hard to have an all time great final tribal performance with this final tribal format

I like Kenzie don’t get me wrong, but Charlie played a slightly better game. I mean come on. He was on the right side of every single vote, built relationships with everyone, and won two immunities. Kenzie was left out of a vote. She had no strategy at least not like Charlie. I’m pissed at Maria for Charlie lol. She screwed him over and cost him the game. Ben would have voted for Charlie in a tie I believe. Ugh Maria
thought Charlie had won when at ftc he said at 6, he got 3 people who couldnt/shouldn't beat him to keep him over Q who at least 2/3 could. Also When either Venus/Sodah? asked Kenzie to explain how her game of being told who to vote for post merge was worth 1m dollars and she had no answer other than I'm a social person and that's my game.
Maria not voting for Charlie is the worst part for me. I don’t get why she didn’t when they ran the game together.
Perception is everything, I feel like she never saw Charlie as an equal to her but more as a side piece. From that perspective maria probably felt like she took all the bullets for the both of them only for him to vote her out. If you look at the Malcolm and Denise comparison they ALWAYS saw each other as equals but I don’t feel like that’s the case with maria and Charlie
Maria is a strong confident woman and is very proud of that, and her explanation in the show was that she saw some of that in Kenzie, and wanted to give Kenzie the foundation to build a good life for herself as a strong confident woman. Maria also knows Charlie’s family is well off and he is/was at Harvard, so he’ll likely be fine financially no matter what. She was also feeling superior to Charlie thinking she “carried him” to the final 5, and then she also might be hurt/sour on the fact that he voted her out. Charlie didn’t have the best final tribal performance as well, so all of that coupled with the fact that Maria’s decisions in the past have not been what most people expected (remember Maria not taking “starving-and-allergic-to-island-food Liz” on the reward after Q also didn’t take Liz on the previous reward etc), makes this decision from Maria a little more understandable. Expect the unexpected with her I guess :).
I agree with you both, that she probably thought Charlie was her side-kick. Which it seemed the jury thought as well. Where we the viewers got to see more of Charlies game through confessionals
@@Fantasy_GAINS This sets Charlie up well to be on Season 50, but he will be one of the biggest threats then because now everyone knows how strategic he is :/.
I'm really curious why people can't accept her answer as to why and keep searching for reasons. Why does it have to be more than what she said when we've seen jurors vote for finalists over less calculated reasons?
I don’t think people thought Liz was a threat. Ben knew he probably lost the game already, he was checked out and just wanted to bring his 2 best friends to the final 3. When he was talking to Liz he just wanted to justify his choice for not considering taking her. Charlie was rooting for Kenzie because he simply liked her more and thought he had the game wrapped up either way. Liz was not a threat and you could tell by the reaction of the jury.
Now that we know Ben woulda voted Charlie in the tie this makes Charlie the second placer who came the closest to winning since Dom Abbate.

I'm honestly not interested in seeing winners play in Season 50 unless they fit a very specific theme....I want characters and people with strong strategic plays/momentum.
30:41 Not necessarily. I was in a reddit thread where we were discussing this and what we realized is that the planks could have different numbers of holes as long as production only threads the same amount of them. Then for counting, they could put fewer geckos to count on the puzzle pieces at the stations that have more holes, so everyone is counting the same number of things, just divided differently.
Kenzie wisely made the choice to own her social game as opposed to talking about being a strategic mastermind. In a season full of egos, it’s hard to paint yourself as the sole mastermind.
When you break it down, nothing really changed from the outcome. Q, Venus, Hunter, Liz, and Soda all changed their votes. This means that Kenzie went from a 6-2 win over Charlie to a 5-3 win. Yeah she lost three votes, but picking up two votes from Charlie and having three locked votes was enough to win.
It was just a close game and Charlie did a good job of changing minds. He just couldn’t change enough. Kenzie played great, but just played a different game than Charlie. It’s all gucci.
Kenzie stroking of Maria’s ego, saying she was the best player left and had to need help to beat her, won her the game.
Charlie should’ve never had to change Maria’s mind lol

Q played a wonderful game and almost won
Maria did not treat everyone that was playing as if they had their own mind and their own vote and thought she could win the game with a three person alliance. Charlie's way and Kenzie's way where you are with everyone is the way to win survivor. Maria was a great character, but she made major mistakes just like Cody. She forgot that the other people were playing too.

6:28 Yep, felt this way as well. She looked really smug. Idk if it was because Charlie didn’t pick her for the letters (because she stupidly promised her kids she’d read their letters on tv, as if she was guaranteed that), because she was mad that the person she (wrongly) believed was her sidekick beat her to the end, or if it was because she believed Tiffany when she told Maria that Charlie was plotting against her at the final 8 (which he wasn’t, he only told Tiffany that so she’d be convinced not to play her idol, and Maria would’ve known that had she just asked him about it at ftc), but it sure as hell wasn’t because of “the fire in Kenzie’s eyes”. And if it was because of Kenzie stroking her ego then just say that! I’d respect any honest answer, or any believable answer, over the one she gave.
What hurts Charlie is Maria not having his back at FTC the way Tiff had Kenzie's. I also felt at times Tiff was a bit disrespectful towards Charlie and Ben in FTC. you can root for someone and highlight their game but not at the expense of talking down someone else's game. i felt at times she didn't care about Charlie or Ben's game.
Firstly, looking forward to Season 47(several). Secondly, in regards to Season 50, two things I hope come back: 1) Ponderosa videos and 2) The Live Reunion.

I think Ben put friendship over threat when it came to Charlie. He said Charlie helped with night terror as well. Lastly he said if it was a tie he would have chosen Charlie
They all should have had a separate answer to solve for each of their own puzzles. True it is called "individual immunity challenge" for a reason. True Phil, then leave it at that, solve the puzzle only.
It seemed that Maria voted for Kenzie to be spiteful to Charlie for voting her out. That is the look she had on Final tribal council. I'm not a super fan just my two cents.
Bitter jury. Charlie said he was bad at jury management, and he couldn't handle Marie.
Don’t like being that guy, but a pretty unsatisfying finish for an otherwise pretty great season.

I think people are upset about the final 5 challenge because of 2 reasons. 1 Liz physically moved a part of Kenzie’s challenge, which based off previous challenge precedents is not allowed. Like they said Albert was told not to help because it required him to physically touch a part of her challenge. In every other example of players colluding together it is strictly in a verbal way. 2 Liz left her platform before completing her puzzle, which is weird because of the twist in the challenge. Imagine if after Liz dropped her bridge and forgot her key, another player walked over and grabbed it for and brought it to her for the puzzle or even worse they used their own key to unlock her puzzle pieces. Ultimately if Liz just told Kenzie to go get her own plank than nobody would care, Jeff was put in a pickle and made a judgment call and by doing so he went against the grain of previous challenge precedent.
Maria was bitter, she should have voted Charlie.
Kenzie deserved to win but so did charlie nobody talked about kenzie wanting to vote out her number so early in the game failing to convince people and then being left out at the next vote were hder number one got voted out thats a misplay in so many ways , Charlie was always in the majority and was insolated everyone talks about charlie not having big moves but nobody had amazing moves because the people that made a move got voted out. Maria thinking she had the control over charlie is bs because they made there moves together he wasnt just as vocal about it. Im not mad that kenzie won she is great but in the way the missed how charlke played and he didnt get the change to explain ths just told him off because off their ego getting in the way
They did dirty to Venus because of Maria, Tevin and Q and now you see Venus has been right all along. They were so intimidated by Venus youth and beauty they needed to assassinate her character but their own true color just showed up at the end. Hope Venus got another chance and will be with a better team and cast.
Speaking of Big Brother, all this talk about what people would have done with the million reminds me of Dr. Will’s iconic quote from Big Brother 2 where he said that half a million dollars was summer for him and that he was going to waste it. You could see Nicole seething next to him 🤣. Legend!
Maria ruined this episode with her pettiness. So stupid.
Petty Maria lol. Marie didn't understand the game, or how to win it. That's why she voted wrongly. Charlie should've known this.
Lastly I do not think things like who need the money the most/ or what they plan to do with the money should be apart of the decision making. Stick to what happened in the game.
The cast from season 47 looks good, I'm really looking forward to it

You can't compare what Adam did in MvGen-X to what Liz did....Adam verbally helped Ken which has been done countless times (he didn't touch is ball or help him build the puzzle), Liz ran through an obstacle course to retrieve Kenzie's board while Kenzie did none of the work, it wasn't fair and if they allowed this then expect challenges to start looking much different.
They will probably change the rules to disallow helping another player physically.
@@pytube777 possibly, I just don’t like people criticizing or disregarding those who feel it was unfair, only for it to be changed in the future. Same thing with Sandra..Sandra ass set out all of them challenges and now they wanna change the rules 😂😂
Hate to hear backstory of home and $ situation would be determining factor in who wins game re Q and Maria with Kenzie. If that's case why not choose Ben whos $ story trumps Kenzie's?
38:51 I also feel like, if Maria didn’t want to be targeted, she shouldn’t have made herself such a big target. I was saying it from final 9 when she wanted to target Tiffany, but then changed her mind when she learned Kenzie also wanted to target Tiffany because Maria wanted sole credit. I was like, have you seen any of the other new era seasons?
Charlie even pointed out to her that episode that it would be better if Kenzie got credit for taking out Tiffany because then Kenzie would be the next big target, but Maria ignored him the next episode and went ahead with it anyway. And look where the got her. She also saw Hunter be targeted specifically because he was a challenge threat, but she kept winning them.
1:09:04 I think they were actually. We know now that Ben just wanted to go to the end with his two best friends since he knew he was losing anyway. As for Charlie, he was encouraging the Liz narrative because he didn’t want to make fire. And for Kenzie I think it was either that she knew she had a much better chance beating Liz in fire, or she just didn’t view Charlie as a threat. She’s the one who referred to him as Maria’s jester in a confessional, and the family dog at final 6 tribal council.
🏖🏝Ben took Charlie, unlike jealous Maria, took his no 1 frm beginning. Loved that about Charlie, stayed honorable.
Charlie was shocked he didn't win, and Kenzie was shocked she did. Also when Q tried to quit, I thought he had no chance of winning. Not sure if Q can beat Ben in F3, but I'm convinced he beats Liz who was on a different universe in terms of what she thought about her game, versus the perceived reality of the players and what we saw on tv.
For Charlie to say that once he saw 4 votes for Kenzie, he was hoping for a tie means he was pretty confident Ben was going to vote for him
Ben has come out and said today that there is no doubt he would have voted for Charlie.

Kenzie was meant to win this season. Great season and great winner. Just wish Maria and Tiff could have been more respectful towards Charlie's game.
Liz was very similar to Carolyn in season 44 lol!

Why couldnt Kenzie just get the plank herself instead watching Liz get it.
If they are just going to start giving the money to people who REALLY need it than they might as well quit playing the game and just hand the money to the most financially challenged person. Survivor is supposed to be about strategy and game play not who is liked the best or who has the saddest story to share. I like Kenzie but Charlie deserved the win just on his strategic play alone. Marie owed him a vote because they played the game together and who knows she may have never made it as far as she did without him. That shows me what kind of person she is. But he should be proud of the way he handled it. I get it social play is part of the game but the game should be more than just a popularity contest. It used to be. A good jury awards good play.
Kenzie said in her People interview that Jeff said at the next Immunity challenge that they're to play their own game and not help each other. Wonder if this was a serious or joking comment, Innnteresting!
I hate the question about what will you do with the million dollars. How does that mesh with the “jury instructions” of outplay, outwit, outlast. Maria and Q’s post interviews both indicate this was a huge consideration. You should not have to broke or charitable to win.
every year people tend to forget that #survivor is a social game. kenzie played an excellent social game and built strong relationships. she was hardly ever mentioned as a threat and wasn't really on anyone's radar for long at all. her win is well earned and deserved!
I think it was a Very Strategic Competitive Player versus Social Player.. n it seems Social players win at the end.. coz jury stays bitter n petty n the emotions are fresh... they still end up voting more emotionally , than rationally.. also im so disappointed that Charlie lost, he didnt get to explain his game properly at the end! But im happy for Kenzy too. She looked to be deserving aswell. 🎉😂 maria was petty, n resentful just as i guessed she would be right from the start of the Season. Oh well, im hoping Season forty several has much stronger better entertaining gameplay.. 🎉

6) 43, and it’s not even close. The only things I remember about it were Jesse’s two idol plays and being unpleasantly surprised by Gabler’s win. I need more than two exciting moments to rank a season high.

5) 41, the twists were bad and they used up so much time trying to explain them all. This is supposedly why Erika and especially Heather weren’t focused on at all in the pre-merge.

4) 45, there was a lot I liked about this season, like the Emily & Kaleb storyline, the full tribe swap, but the ending got pretty boring. I think Dee played the strongest game of new era winners.

The rest are all really close in terms of overall entertainment, editing, and winner quality.
3) 46, Bhanu brings this season down a lot for me, as well as there being I think only one or two really strong game players. In terms of gameplay I think this season is close to 43, but this cast was definitely way more entertaining.
2) 44, the cast was so much fun, I loved watching the Tika 3 maneuver to the end. Yam Yam is possibly the most charismatic winner ever.
1) 42, I have very similar feelings as to 44, so what puts this above for me is Maryanne. I love her winning story, and the move she made to get Omar out. She’s the only player to ever meaningfully play an extra vote.
This season breaks 2 records (probably more than 2 but these are the 2 that stand out to me)
Most people voted out with idols in their pockets and most Jeff hugs!

If you can help other players in challenges then in tribe vs. tribe challenges, why don’t tribes mates help each other during those long endurance challenges? Is there a rule against that?
This wasn't an endurance challenge. If it was against the rules they wouldn't have allowed it.

I think the biggest issue with Liz helping Kenzie is that she physically touched Kenzies pieces. Helping through discussion should absolutley be allowed like Adam watching the ball

She helped her cause Kenzie was in the lead in the challenge and Liz just wanted to prevent María from winning.
I was all in with a Ben win but glad that Kenzie the mermaid dragon won and sad to see Charlie super miserable on the after show
Anyone else remember when JFP winked, uh "sarcastically," (during the power ranking podcast) that Kenzie would win?... Maybe don't have the dude on a live podcast again, idk.

Can somebody ples explain to me Whyyy dont they have Final Two, n have odd number Jury , to avoid a Tie at the end???
More interesting to have a final 3 than a final 2
If it were a final 2 then almost every winner would be a blow out vote. For example, if this season had a final 2, there’s a 0% chance that Kenzie and Charlie would be sitting next to each other, and which ever one made it with Ben would’ve won 9-0.
The way they do it now guarantees there will never be a deadlocked tie, because there will always be at least one person who gets fewer votes (either 4-4-0 or 3-3-2) and that person can break a tie.
Honestly I found this finale episode the weakest finale in the new era, up until ftc we got pretty much just a whole bunch of crying and that’s it. No strategy or surprises. Final tribal was really good, but not an overall entertaining episode.

@@jackwolff5428 couldn’t fit it all in one post so the rest are on the next post - Kendra, Tevin, jelinski, & Charlie (not cuz Charlie’s that entertaining but because he is so good strategically)! Jelinski would have been good if Q didn’t reject him.

I’ve personally paid attention to voces interviews and when he co hosts podcasts as a guest and I notice him have some of the worst social charm amongst any castaways. He was rude to Tiffany on the podcast, giving mean jokes that required a “just kidding” and he sort of just flopped socially for me. And this was him with people he was comfortable with, imagine him with new people that can’t read his sarcasm. I think he would be a bad choice cuz he’s too cold and snarky
Who is a bigger goat? Liz, Ben, Jake, or Romeo?
Romeo is by far the biggest of these 5. He had lost the game around final 12 at which every single person other then rox would’ve beaten him 8-0 likely.

Jeff literally stopped Venus from beating Maria in the Snake maze puzzle challenge. Venus should not have lost that challenge and went out with an idol in her pocket. She passed the beam section with her ball still in the air but Jeff sent her back and so with many things this season being quite contentious Kenzie won the season controversially. Randen was pulled the time Kenzie would have been voted out. Too many controversies surrounding her win

I am okay that Kenzie won but I don't like the the fans got it right! It spoiled the finale for me (even though the fans probably aren't spoiled) I was hoping for Liz to win fire or for Charlie to beat Kenzie somehow just to prove everyone's predictions wrong!
I was also disappointed (I actually cried) that Charlie lost! He was a huge fan favorite in my house! Hope he returns for season 50 and that he wins the Sia money!

I'm laying the conspiracy out right now. There was never going to be a male winning for Survivor 46. From the get go, the male contestants were mostly weak. Maria voting for Kenzie and constantly changing her reason why. Was Liz delusional when in the final four said" I would of beat all of you", if she made it to the final three or just revealing that she knew there was always going to be a female winner and thought her game was better then Kenzie's.
What's not a conspiracy, this was a forgettable season.
Final immunity Challenge felt more like the retired Super Ball pricing game due to it's length of time.

I think Kenzie nailed a couple specific questions and Maria followed her heart more than focusing on solely strategy. I can understand why she felt this very real prize of a million dollars more deserving of a woman hustling in a fairly low paying industry since she was 15.. than a Harvard educated guy who's from one of the richest towns in America and is heading (most likely) to law school to go on and be a likely, very financially successful lawyer. She followed her heart and that is just as valid a reason as any other! Also think Charlie underdelivered a bit at final Tribal. I liked them both, and would have been happy to see either win and will be stoked if/when either of them return!
Imagine if Michele beats Tony, because that’s what just happened.
Saying Kenzie finished the puzzle first is disingenuous. Once she finished the puzzle there was a whole other part to the challenge. She didn’t even think to grab the plank she had to ask Liz what it meant. By the time Maria finished her puzzle if Kenzie was still standing they would of had equal time
This cast saw the end of 44, they were disappointed with Charlie saying he wouldn’t do the fire making challenge. Very disappointing

@@Jack-jx6ln yep. He did a great job at building up Maria’s threat level to shield himself come final 8-5. I like Kenzie, and she was my winner pick, but Charlie deserved at least a tie on that vote
But that doesn’t make sense, because at the end of 44 they saw Heidi put herself into fire against the biggest threat of the final 4, break the fire making record, and still only receive 1 vote to win (funnily enough, from her number 1 ally).
A jury with 3 men and 5 women was not going to give Charlie 1M. He needed Tim on the jury versus Soda.
The Finale was such a letdown to a great New Era season. I was just about to have this season over 45 until the Finale. Oh well, it's still in my opinion 2nd best New Era season.

I do agree that Charlie over-managed his threat level and then he didn’t reset it well enough in the final tribal. That is his biggest mistake in my opinion.
Re: the challenge where Liz cheated. I think she did. If the “anything is ok in Survivor “ is true, then we should see active sabotage in future episodes. Should Maria have thrown Kenzie’s board off the platform? Or Charlie grabbed Kenzie’s ball during the pachinko competition and thrown it far? How about some wrestling to stop someone from succeeding?
Of course not, but Liz’s actions are no different.
It’s not cheating if it’s not explicitly against the rules. Sabotage is already against the rules. I’m sure going forward there will be some sort of “stay in your lane” rule, but there clearly wasn’t at this point because no one from production stopped Liz.
Jeff has said on his podcast that it’s better for players to just try something instead of asking him, because if he has to make a quick decision he’ll probably say no. So Liz did exactly what Jeff has advised.

The last 2 challenges were terribly weak n not entertaining... that's why they need to feed the people, so the close can be proper endurance gritty challnges that are more heart wrenching! Gosh i really hope they take a page out of Auzzie survivor for future seasons!

Sorry Phi you are total wrong about the Challenge. If people are allowed to team up in individual immunity challenges what stopping a duo or a group just teaming up in future seasons to prevent certain people from winning
Jeff and production changing the rules. All they had to do was tell Liz that it wasn't allowed, and she would have had to go back. So to prevent future players, this is what they need to do. Plus, we have seen players help others in challenges throughout the show's history. Just never to this level.

You're ascribing too much credit to Charlie. Charlie was Maria's henchmen. Until they turned on each other. She was the Don and he was the Consigelere. Except for the Q vote. Kenzie & Liz got rid of Maria. Not Charlie. He's only big move was to get out Q. Kenzie was the one who told Hunter not to use his idol. I think he was a gamebot. Tiffany trusted Charlie because he saved her from using her idol. Left her hanging when Maria said she had to go. Their closeness was about the game not personal. He shouldn't have told them his background. Liz wasn't going to win either because of her wealth. Charlie reminds me of Spencer. But with more finesse.

But we can literally give Charlie credit because we watched the show… his game and his reasoning was shown to us lol. I don’t think he was “robbed” like many people think. I am just shocked at who voted for who and their reasoning. Maria wouldn’t have made it half as far in that game without Charlie.
@@SweetRyGuy I agree, in our eyes we saw Charlie as the best player while it felt Kenzie was just part of the majority in the merge and just a good social player.
@@KDub2234 agreed. I had been rooting for Kenzie for a long time just because she was my pregame winner pick and I had her in a draft with some friends, but her winning just felt wrong. I tend to always cheer for the best strategic player from the season, but seems the jury always votes for social
