Other than initial setup I don't understand the maintaining part. Ive been on Arch for a good 5 years and havent had to maintain anything.
I tried this os its unusable the fist rc i can't even install it
And the RC 2 you can install it but for gaming was unusable
Steam won't install games the software center is complete Trash
It keeps on freezing you will have problems
I know what NATE would have said.
What? 😂
Minimize button...
Important for floating windows.
Debian. You always back to debian
Agree! :) And this is coming for someone who likes Debian-based distros like SparkyLinux, LMDE, & Siduction.
I thought you were Suse Lover Boy didn't last long😂
Still on openSUSE. I have multiple computers
Can you really use this long term? :-)
Hahaha, they killed the whole distro by not having a minimize button on the window and not having it in that useless dock that serves no purpose. That's just ugly aesthetically and functionally.
Unlike you, I'm not jumping between distros, I'm going with the ultimate debian and cinnamon desktops
@@hiYouareaclown I’m not jumping. I run a Linux RUclips channel.
@@TheLinuxCast Thank you so much for your work. You convinced me to daily drive openSUSE (I'm loving it) and you ALSO convinced me to do a testing/distro-hopping partition, along with my two main distros. So, you convinced me to test ElementaryOS for short-term. Thank You for your helpful insights!
PCLinuxOS !
Please do another i3 rice but from absolute scratch on arch. It must be unix porn worthy😅😅😅😅
another silly fork
Void why not Ubuntu is for noobs
What is that sentence?
@ sorry my vote was for void Lennox. I said you’ve been to us for noobs.
Elementary is a mistake given that there's only the original dev working on it now as far as I know. All the other devs left, so if things went wrong good luck
Not accurate. They had two owners on the company and one left. But there are more devs
Not truth. There are more devs. I reported some bugs on GH and some other guys worked on them
This was recently, on v8 preview
Elementary OS used to be cool, now its just stock gnome except even worse.
Thank you buddy for trying out Elementary, so we don't have to!
You put up that poll. Now, you renege on doing what you said that you would do. What does that say about you?
Than he is a human, not a robot
That it's his youtube channel and his choice on what he wants to do?
@@donaldmickunas8552 that I’m not your servant and can do whatever the fuq I want.
@@TheLinuxCast Thank you,it's not as if you drew a compact up in blood with the viewer.
@@TheLinuxCast Wow. Just wow.
Elementary sucks really bad. Good luck.
meh, that is one of the "useless" distros that are just a skin on a real distro lol
Well said.
Looking at other people's reviews, mostly negative or meh..., your "long term" review will be short. :)
This distro is woke AF
Elementary dev is super woke guy
Does that mean he is not asleep?
dont use elementory os it is woke ....
"Elementary OS". It's called "an education", feel free to try one yourself.
weak lol
