Totally, we actually haven’t stayed at this hotel. We did do the walk last year. Last time I looked at staying the reviews were terrible. I would have to check how they are trending now. It is a more affordable option for people.
Hotel's that put "Main Gate" in their title are never anywhere near the main gate. A fact that has always amused me. And the Motel 6 Maingate is better than most.
You actually point out one of the reasons we started this channel. Before we were married, we had a reservation at the Best Western Anaheim Inn. We called to confirm our reservation the day we were leaving and they lost our reservation. In a panic, we opened up a AAA book and booked a hotel with "Main Gate" in the name. The hotel was terrible and obviously not very close to Disneyland. Thanks for watching!
@@AnaheimParkTourist Lol...The closest motel I have ever seen with "maingate" in the name was the Roadway Inn Maingate at Disneyland. It was a decent distance away from the park entrance too, but there was a trick. . It was located on the back side of the Mickey and Friends parking structure. You could enter through the gate to the employee parking area, which was RIGHT next to the motel, go up a set of stairs, walk across the parking structure, and down the escalator, and you were at the tram stop. So maybe a 100 yard walk from the front door of the hotel to the tram. I don't know if you can still do this today. There was a guard shack at the entrance, but they gave us no trouble in those days. I used it on 4 different trips. But its been 12 years since I used one of the motels on the back side. Maybe things have changed. The motel is still there, but it's called the Anaheim Main Gate today.
You can walk the way you mentioned and take the tram. We were going to make a video from this area when we stayed at Anaheim Majestic but we ran out of time since we were meeting friends.
@@AnaheimParkTourist Thanks! I'm glad to hear that this option is still available. Someday, I will run across a hotel with "maingate" in the title and it will actually be right next to the main gate. And on that that day, I may die of a heart attack from the shock!
Pretty weather for the walk :)
nice morning for the walk, happy Disney day ☺️ thanks for sharing ✨
Yes! Nice walk to get your morning going. We had a few requests for this one.
I have been waiting for this video 😊
So happy it was helpful! Thank you for watching ☺️
Thank you for your helpful videos!
Thank you and we are delighted that they help out.
Great walk around the Anaheim area as always, the weather looks perfect!
This is probably a bit too long for me to walk, I’d get a ride share.
yes indeed
Every time I see that price under Disney Vacation Packages ... I ponder it! 😂

@@AnaheimParkTourist Same here! I'm always tempted by the price ... but between the Walk and Reviews, I always pick something else!
You came on Disney Way?
Correct. From the main doors, turn left onto Disney Way.
Man, this is a long walk and kind of boring. Noting exciting to see huh? LOL. Thanks for the look. LIKE 10. 👍👍👍
