This whole "white" thing I do find offensive. As a Latin American you have an unfair advantage
Disproportionately almost 70% of Latin Americans are fluently bilingual. Why? Because from infancy you're learning your mother language of Spanish. Then you go into the school system and are forced to learn English. How is being exposed chronically to two languages from 3 years on and up a disservice???

Who told you 70 percent of Latin American know English I have meet hundreds of them in Colombia Mexico Peru and hardly 5 percent of them can communicate in English
