That boi facts my is300 is auto but I recently bought a manny trans to do a manny swap but man I miss being in the Honda game use to have a boost 99 ex coupe and it was a lot more fun then anything I’ve ever owned

Real ones you’ll have to source but as for the rep you can get usually anywhere like eBay. Real ones don’t come full carbon and some of the reps do. Just up to you man

At the time it was a DC Sports race header with a DC Sports full exhaust.

you can try and source a real one in good condition and you’ll have good fiitment with the correct application. or you can get a rep from eBay or something and have to do a little modification around the license plate area. even mine isn’t perfect man

I believe those were 17x9.5 +38. 5MM spacer in the rear to clear the trailing arm.

They are sick cars. The power is so raw and definitely a drivers car when done right. Just have to be careful with thieves out and about on these. Keep it locked up good you’ll love it.

@@JacobCorlew They are slow AF but they are fun.. K24 bottom end changes all of that though.. Max torque at like 4Krpm.. Makes all the difference. Im making 260whp/215wtq.. K20z1 head and K24a2 bottom end. 40 degree VTC gear. Full bolt ons.. Ported RBC and Hybrid 70mm TB with full 3 inch Kteller custom exhaust and ASP header.. Got 17x9's up front and Hondata Traction control so Im able to grab up really well in 1st and 2nd for the torque number.
Not at all they hit 0-60 in decent time the 6's stock when launched and are great track cars.
@@JonHop1 So you kinda have a K24z1 FBO plus. I have a K24z3 k&n air filter, spark plug upgrade, muffler delete. I want to take the governor off so I can pull in 4th gear and go past 130mph, and go to 8k rpm, but my mechanic friend says I'll blow it up if I do that. What should I do about that? If I got a tune, how much good would it do while that's there? Or would that remove it?
@@PM4K No, k24z1 is the CRV motor.. I have the RBB3 JDM K24A bottom end that has higher compression pistons and stronger internals. To go to around 8K+ rpm in a k24 you need a type S oil pump conversion. This is the weak point on k24s as they oil starve. You need Kpro and a dyno tune. Its 100% your best option. If you get Kpro and the type s pump, along with the 40 or 50 degree vtc gear you can rev to about 8400rpm safely, but youll need a cam to see your power continue to climb past 8K cuz the stock cam has power fall off around 7800rpm
I have an 04 type s and when I first got it about 6 months ago I thought it was fast but I guess I just got used to it I don't think it's fast anymore lol but it is stock and I feel the issue is it has a slow start
Stock they definitely lack the potential. Do some upgrades and get k-pro and you’ll be surprised!
Get a cold air intake and kpro, bro. That'll stoke your love for the car. Then later k24 swap it. That's what I've done. It hauls ass

No, they are rsx base seats. Leather (type s) seats are slippery and are often cracked and look like crap, I extracted and cleaned these up and they are quite nice until i get my recaros.

It sounds slow.. my ek fbo b20v whooped rsxs on digs and rolls. It’s a nice car but that thing only pushing 190-200hp max... Rsx are heavy and needs driver mod. Dude takes forever to drop clutch
