- In todays toolsday video I show Greg how to bend rebar like a pro. Of course you don't need an expensive tool to bend rebar, but I can promise if you bend rebar often, you would be much happier with todays Toolsday! The other perk to this tool is it effortlessly cuts rebar as well.

This is a tool that amazes me everytime I use it how effortless it makes the task of bending and cutting rebar! What are you thoughts?
Love your stuff man awesome work
#AD
Amazon has them 20% off right now. You made perfect timing on the video.
The fact that you can cut and bend all of the rebar for a stem wall of a 40X80 and the hardest part of the task is pulling the tool off of and putting it back on the tool trailer makes it a no brainer . Why fight the job while trying to get it done ?
A couple of more bends you could have made a large paper clip
Shoutout to Greg on becoming more camera friendly recently. It only took the guy 3+ years. He’s a late bloomer. 😂😂😂
5 years
@@RRBuildings 🤣🤣🤣. Better late then never. I was like man! Greg’s wearing a mic for another video and actually engaging with the camera. He done graduated middle school now. All jokes aside, much respect for the guy stepping out of his comfort zone recently.
totally agree, humble guy, nothing wrong with being camera shy, handsome mofo too lol
I read the entire Ryan’s ruclips.net/user/postUgkxGqOCINHE0Z0E5gxzSdNi9NWGugRY5Hm2 Plans and was able to make a shed plan. Using Ryan’s Shed Plans alone, the shed itself is great. Where I wish I knew more is with respect to ground preparation and foundations. Maybe that's beyond the scope of Ryan’s Shed Plans.
I like that Greg is more involved on camera. You guys are awesome.
He steals the show
Just wanted to say it's good to see Greg on another video.
The intro is gold!!! Awesome Kyle and Greg! 👌👍
I've been using the corded version (Hitachi) for over 15 years. It's an invaluable tool.
Greg needs to be in all of your Toolsday videos!
Kyle could showcase Greg as a tool. 😅
That was the best tool demonstration I’ve ever seen, granted I’ll never buy it or use it , but it was very interesting
I thought you guys were giving in to the hater police but y'all proved me wrong😃But that is a wonderful tool for all those who are in the construction business bending loads of rebar.
I have the same one as here, and it is a labor saver for sure. Been using the holy hell out of it for 2.5 yrs and will never go back to a manual bar bender. Metabo tools are as good or better than any other brand out there imho.
Metabo hpt 💪💯
Loving the “Iowa Lakes” hoodie
I don't think I'll ever have to bend rebar for any reason, but now I want to buy one of these just in case I ever do!
Great Vid!
Fantastic Tool!
Matabo is The Way!
That would be a good tool for a tool rental shop to have.
Luv this tool
Had an HJK Porter that was decent but this Metabo HPT kicks ass and saves crazy hours
They do make corded ones that are around a third the price.
you guys interaction was great....like two brothers talking smack. good stuff.
If anyone wants one, Amazon has it 20%off right now for 1926 or 1969.
amazing tool
Go Greg
I don't need alot of rebar work but i would love to own this! this is so satisfying!
Awesome tool
Great video and interaction between both of you!
Cool tool. Also again lke to see more of Greg on the videos.
I use this tool on every foundation I pour and the battery lasts around 40 linear feet of wall. You get two batteries and a fast charger so you’re pretty good. Only thing is you need one guy on bandsaw and one guy on metabo to make the most of your time.
G-money! Nice to see and hear more from Greg
A great versatile tool for this job.
after watching these tool videos for the last few years, I can honestly say you demoed something I have zero need and zero desire to get. 😀Now if you can get Lamello to give you a Zeta P2 , that's a whole different story!
Greg Greg Greg welcome to the show.
Great tool
This is amazing
Bender even comes with a Half Umbrella. Keep your back-side dry.
Easy money
If Greg J's all those brackets, Kyle would definitely fire him. lol
Also called Hikoki rebar cutter in Australia its awesome!
Solid intro guys
You guys are awesome. You're like brothers. 👍
Ha Ha Ha, Mat put the beam post bracket right in front of Greg's face! Greg's peeking around it...🤘😂
I got an electric hydraulic rebar cutter and a separate bend for 400 Canadian each years ago from China for a job where we weren’t allowed to make sparks but the yokes are still going strong. If I did more rebar I’d get the metabo
Hi, It seems that you have a great experience.
I am a student eager to learn about construction work, I'm actively seeking someone in this field who can share their expertise with my student team. Really need insights from you, feel free to hit me up!
I love this tool. And it beats the heck out of the old hand bender and cutter. And the cutter/ bender we use is heavy as a train
Can this tool re-straighten a bend that may have been bent in error?
More Greg please
Good video
Nice tool
👍🏾 excellent!
You two crack me up 😂 great review
have the corded one for the last 2 years works very well

is there some accessories for different radius? The canadian guide of rebar installation ask to put a minimum (1 3\4) radius in the bends of number 5 rebar by using a 90mm (3 1\2 '') chuck. When an engineer told me that I made jig with hard wood instead of a using a vice. A cheater bar make that easy and the jig had an ajustable stop (nothing fancy, just a screw) to make repeatable bends. 0$ to make a jig for a job that requires 250+ bends. I'm still looking for an efficient and cheap method to cut the rebars. A grinder is annoying and a diablo blade is dead after 80 cuts.
What shoes are yalls go to shoe? I’m currently wear brooks but they toes get holes worn in them within a few months. Just trying to see what’s out there that’s no a boot.
I would say it's probably around 300 bends on a battery I use this quite a bit on concrete footings
Hi. This equipment is not good for professionals. However it is can fail to escape from prison. Like you channel.
i have the metabo bender. the light grey cutting side housing shattered in the cold unfortunatly. but it still bends lol. i like it alot but i think ill go with a table type bender in the future.

I wanna see more of that Milwaukeenee MX Fuel light stand that's there behind y'all
I can see how this could help vs the manual bender. But I agree with Greg, the finger fatigue with a tool like this is real.

Iowa Lakes 👍
there was a video where you needed to fix an oil canned roof. Can you tell me the name of the video or series for that one?
Damn..... Looks nice. Can it straighten a bent bar?
Красавчики👍👍👍 с уважением из РОССИИ
Game changer tool 🔧
Like what is does with the battery or switch to mains electricity, a shame that companies don’t do this option with other power tools I.e cordless drills, nailers etc.
How would you bend the other two that will bend the opposite?
as you mentioned alot of times before , these brackets are ICC certified. with that said. if there was any reason what so ever,if they would only think a J hook was necessary, they would have bend a J hook in the factory before welding them on. so i'm in team I instead of team J 👌
What brand hats do you have embroidered?
Work smarter not harder!
I don’t understand……… when you started the demo it looked like you were opening the the tool for the first time and trying it out. At the end you said you had the tool for 3 years?
In any case ……. Loved the demo and love everything you guys do. By the way …… that 180 degree bend was going a bit over, maybe 185 😂
Hi were can i get one of these tools..thanks
why stop at a J-hook, if you have 4 rods you bend one J, second O, third and fourth S's. Sure, you'll be spending half an hour per bracket, but think of the safety factor!
We have had three of these so far in the last few years so if you use it every single day, they only got about 10 months to 18 month life
But I will always only one because they earn their keep

👍🏻
as much as those Sturdi-Wall Plus wet set brackets cost, they should come pre-bent with a lollipop
neat tool though
No need. It would be a waste of time
Masters of disaster, destroying the j hook police. Love that you hear the haters and just laugh. Killing it fellas
Cut the 5/8”!!!
I should have
How much per like? $.001?
Y'all should see my Benz on this thing
I mean the two tools are probably only about 30 dollar price difference right.
Only 1900 dollars on Amazon today 😅
Here I am with 0 use for a rebar bender watching this video start to finish
Great machine, but not for me. Thanks for filming Kyle & Greg! 👍😁
Hi Kyle, This it Tim I want to get started in building barndominiums how would I find my first customers?
And are you for Sure Not brothers??!! Lol.
$1,200 for Greg so far
Some people brag about how much money they saved by buying the cheapest tool out there. I smile thinking how much $$ my good tools are going to make me.
I hear the I can't afford that a lot, my comeback is you can't afford not to have that..
The price isn't that bad for what you're getting
I really agree. Seems like a no brainer
They need to add a power pedal so just one guy can use it. I love tools
Have used the same tool but it’s corded for 7 years very durable and invaluable
The 180 degree hook is good but your shear cone is now smaller which means it will take less force to pull out the anchor.
Silence the haters!! Can't be done. 🍔🍔
Nice tool too bad I’ll probably never use it 😭
Only for professional home owners😂
Yeah if you have enough work to justify it and what’s nice is you don’t have to pay people to bend that rebar there’s a deal
Oh yes, a hugely expensive contractor grade rebar bender. No one who is doing a small personal job would economically afford such a machine
'Like a PRO'? You need to be in a high level production environment to justify a $2,400 bender. You have to BE a pro, or a super-cashed up amateur, to buy one of these.
Intro is a bit cringe, we already love you don't need to act out. Might be an ad? Don't listen to those weasels.
dude relax...no ad just having fun???
