This video is a full Restoration of a 1976 Holden HJ GTS
The owner of this HJ Holden wanted it returned to its former glory, with a few upgrades along the way.
The body showed signs of age with bubbles forming underneath the paint. Overall a good tidy project to start a restoration.
The body was dismantled and all parts were documented, labeled and stored before the body was put on a rotisserie in preparation of sandblasting.
Sandblasting revealed rust in the usual areas such as the sills, the floor and rear quarters. As part of the rust repairs, lead was removed so as not to affect the paint and preparation process of modern paint systems.
After metal and body work, the re-built sub-frame was mated to the body and work commenced fitting all new or re-built components. An alarm and immobiliser was installed as part of the final fit-out.

Firstly, I had a yellow HX Kingswood and this reminded me so much of her. Second, you guys did a fantastic job all round and particularly impressed that you didn't do anything stupid with this classic and brought her back to the way she was meant to be.
Third, I'm an old school auto instrument instrument guy, repaired and restored many of these GTS instruments but without spare parts, the "tuning fork" clocks have never been repairable so I've converted them to quartz.
On a purely aesthetic level, the instruments from the HX and HZ were better looking with updated graphics and their yellow pointers. Anyway, kudos to your whole team and to the owner who wanted her restored to original condition.
