      😂😂😂 Yes she can!!!
I marathon’d her channel the other night and was straight starvin’/jonesin’ at 3:30 in tha’ dang morning!
Watchin’ her is a struggle on my po’ stomach.
Actually trying this recipe (and my first time at Tamales period)-right now as we speak.
      Pork is in tha’ pot.
      But truth...
Most ‘Fluffy chicks’ can ‘cripwalk’ 😂😂 in tha’ kitchen.
      No joke.

Hi Claudia, Just a Suggestion: you might want to use a pressure cooker for the meat. It cuts half the time in half and makes it tender too.

      MrsJulian It’s a suggestion

    • @bluestar5544
      @bluestar5544 4 года назад +5

DEAR, YOUR SUGGESTION SOUNDS GREAT, BUT THE PRESSURE PAN BREAKS THE PROTEIN TO FAST AND IT DOESN'T TASTE SO GOOD... TRY DOING IT YOURSELF, SIDE BY SIDE, AND YOU WILL DISCOVER THE DIFFERENCE....
A HUGE DIFFERENCE ON THE FLAVOR AND ON THE MEAT CONSISTENCY. MUCH, MUCH BETTER COOKING SLOW AND ENJOYING THE COOKING. REMEMBER...COOKING IS AN ART. KISS 💋 FROM BRAZIL 🇧🇷

I made these and they are good. I would definetaly add salt to the maseca for flavor. My average cooking time ran about 2 and 1/2 hours.
The chili verde filling is spicy but not over whelming. I used a spatula instead of a spoon.

We soak the ojas, corn husks, in hot water to make them pliable which makes it easier to spread the masa on. I love your recipes!

Teach your boys how to make tamales too. Knowing how to make delicious food is a gender neutral thing!

    • @alexsandraaguilera6450

jjr26x although that is a good opinion to have she will teach her kids what she wants to teach them not because someone decided to tell her how to raise her kids

jjr26x exactly then men grow up to be babies and expect the women to do everything. Cooking shouldn’t be based off gender if you’re human you should learn to cook it’s an essential tool to have.

If you are physically present in the house when tamales are being made-- male, female, old or young--you WILL be in the kitchen making tamales! There is no other option. If you don't show, you don't GET any, unless illness (Hospital) or an act of God prevented your presence.

It takes me back to my childhood living in Hermosillo with all the ladies, aunts and cousins together cooking up those same wonderful meals. Put more water en los frijoles, we have visitors. Thank you Claudia. God bless you and your family.

My uncle is Mexican and his mom use to make tamales for us and we loved it. I remember when I was a little girl and she made them and she had all of us older kids, including the boys, in there helping her to put the tamales together. Great memories. I miss that sweet woman.

Everyone suggesting a pressure cooker - please realize that if she would’ve done a pressure cooker video you’d have a ton of people telling her to make it in a regular pot cause they don’t have pressure cookers 🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️. Do you and let her cook HOW she wants to cook!
