Hi Gemma and Campbell, I can’t believe we bumped in to you in the lift on the Pont Aven the other day. As I said you gave me the idea of going up to Potes when we were still in L’Estartit in the Costa Brava. We left early to give up a small period in the north before boarding the ferry back to UK. We came over from Zaragoza to a small village near Llanes called Colombres, and stayed there the night, so our trip up to Potes was the same day as departing from Santander. When the traffic stopped near the road works for 30 minutes we thought oh dear me!! Rats etc!! As I said I’ve been following you guys for a couple of years and have enjoyed your videos immensely. Keep up the good work. Furthermore get rid of that water tank filling pump, nothing wrong with a cap on the side, you can use a watering can or hose, simple. Our van is an Elddis as well and that is simply fitted with a filling cap with a key. I just bought a collapsible watering can which folds flat and is easy to store. Or just use a hose. Awwww guys we have just seen you speak at Peterbourgh show. You did soooo well. Gemma I could tell you were so nervous at the start but then you found your feet. Next time guys trust your knowledge (as you have TONS of knowledge) and don’t worry about the notes. You did so so well and I saw a big queue waiting for your book so that’s brill. I was giving you encouraging smiles from the front row. Lovely to see you lovely folk in person. We LOVE your channel so it was a really lovely thing to hear you in real life. Might help, I think the trumer bullhead regulator ( fitted to the van) should work for both gas types, you just need the correct pigtail hose to fit your canister, worth a check might help🤷🏼♀️

I could be wrong but I think that gas regulator that you took off is actually the "crash valve" which shuts off the gas in an accident so you don't want to remove that. I also thought that propane and butane appliances ran at different pressures and needed different gas jets for efficient and proper burning.
I think you are right in that it doubles as one of them! Reading the manual that would seem to be the case. It also says it is valid for both butane and propane, but we just can’t get it to behave in the colder temperatures haha must be the viscosity

I like you guys, but as a Spaniard, I have to admit I literally CRINGE whenever I hear Brits talking about Spain as "Europe". Which continent do you think you belong to... Asia?? :D Has Brexit done this much damage?? Not something specific to you, but certainly something I´ve been hearing a lot, for quite a while, not only in your channel, but many other UK channels. So, as a piece of advice, just remember the people from the US chose to called themselves "Americans", and the vast majority of the actual America, hates them for it... ;) Have a great stay!

Your crash valve may not be butane compatible, a replacement one is pretty cheap, about £80/90 please do not run the system without it!
