If im not mistaken a group of soldiers had their tank break down in the freezing cold, the pipes burst because of the extreme temperature drop and they had no supplies to fix it. I believe it was more than 10 men in danger, so they thought fast and came up with an idea to use tootsie rolls as a glue to hold the pipes in place until they could make it back to camp. The plan worked they just chewed on it for a little and smudged it on the broken pipes and they got back safe. Pretty cool.
