I'd have them leave the blasting off the headstock veneer. It works with the design as a whole, but by itself it looks like really rough painted stripes. You need more space (like the body) for the sand-blasted look to really work and show up as grain patterns. Leave it black.
Wicked good looking guitars. Got me tempted with the viteramen too, but I'm picky with my flavors. I tend to just eat plain soy sauce ones so I was sad to see only chicken or beef on there.
All I can say is, there better be more than 250 of these. That was not enough last time. I'm STILL looking for an agufisg SIG. They sound absolutely amazing man. I'm so happy for you.
The natural back actually looks better with the blue and purple finishes. The matching sandblasted headstock does not work though. Looks like a DIY job. Plus it looks really busy with the logos. Other than that looks like a sick guitar 🤘
Personally I think the sand blasted body would look better with the black hardware like the solid color, but it’s still super sick! Also that purple looks like the LTD Strat kinda thing with the scalloped frets (huge compliment because they’re both stupidly cool)
I hope Agufish will take into consideration what you're saying here - exactly mine thoughts. The brushed chrome doesn't go well with sandblasted tops imo. I have it on my fusion II silver sparkle and weird thing is when it wears down it kinds looks like brand new gloss one. Nothing wrong about it but defeats the purpose on top of the fact i'm just not thrilled about it at all.
I actually really like the sandblasted blue with the "furniture" back. The thing I don't like about the back is the binding. Awesome looking guitars tho
Hunter, if the color of the backs of the axes actually bothers you, you might consider selling one to me! Serious action! I should tell you, usually I hate purple, but that black-and-purple sandblasted ash top is the most beautiful exception to that rule that I've ever seen! It is GORGEOUS!
Each box you opened I said that is the one I wanna buy! I think the blue one is for me! When are they expected to drop? Also, kinda like the furniture back - especially if a different back adds cost.
All 3 options looked amazing, but that purple one was by far the best looking one in my opinion. My guess was shell pink instead of purple before you took it out lol
All three look fantastic!! I would've gone for black and white sandblasting, but my favorites in most to least order are the purple, the red, then blue. It's so cool that you have a signature model dude, you must be stoked!!
Look really nice - love my V1. Only thing I am not sure of is the sandblasted headstock. Think I would prefer black, but it’s your signature so you do you. Sure they will play great
Love the red and black combination, Gibson did something similar with the Voodoo series many years ago, those were not just black on the tops though. I love guitars with transparent finishes but it looks like the backs may be to light colored in my opinion, maybe use a darker stain perhaps.
Dude, even though this is a year old, the guitar still looks killer. I can't believe the market for cheaper guitars offered with higher end parts that would be seen on more expensive guitars. I also wanted to add that you made me a huge fan of Japanese made solid body guitars lp style. The ESP that you own even with the Fishman P/U replaced is just so beautiful and Badass. I did Tokai Love Rocks now and also I'm sole on Eastman especially the Flat black matte with white bindings and Lollar p/u. I wanted to thank you for delighting my own playing. I haven't opened any of my guitars cases in a few years, after watching a few of your videos you got my fingertips back in playing shape.
Don't know if you thought about it, but I'd love to see a solid color verison of this with that satin purple of your Edward's James Hetfield unnofficial signature, that color is killer. The rest is amazing, as soon as this hit the market I'm buying one
I generally dont really like the ash blasted, but goddamn these tops looks awesome. The back should be much darker as you said. For me the headstock doesnt look nice, but thats just my taste, although for the blue it works better. That thing sounds massive. I still hope for something with massive flames, and unnatural colours. Like the old Ghostfrets from chapman. Black to obnoxious neon green or something like that.

I agree with you on the furniture looking back, but what I like about these is the top by the pickup switch. the models I've previously seen there was more wood there and it just looked ugly, these have slimmed it down and they look fantastic. If they make the red or purple Left Handed I'll def buy one.

I just got in my Harley fusion T style last week. Came with similar looking Roswells and I was gonna say the Roswells suck but man I wish mine came with the Roswells this thing of yours has!! Holy shit they sound good. Please tell HB to put these pickups in all other guitars! This is a winning recipe/formula. 💯💯💯💯 I replaced mine with a chrome SD and the guitar is flying. Love the guitar here man. Fellow guitar dad here so I feel your grind. Keep at it brother 🙏🙏🙏🙏
A lot of people already are speaking about the back, but I must also agree. Having that natural look at the back, and a super exotic back makes it more unique.
It looks absolutely gnarly man! Huge congrats to you, honest to God one of the most beautiful grain finishes/paint jobs I’ve seen, can’t wait for the release man! It looks so fucking sick & KILLER!
Thicker strings are the best for me. You can really smack them around and they take it well. They Also make you need to be sure you wanna hit that note. The best feature tho is that when you play fast and hard at the same time it makes your playing feel more stable and graceful almost as if you are dancing on the string. It has a nice consistent feel to play on. You gotta learn them tho. It takes a while
The aqua blue grain blasted ones against the solid black are dope. So is the purple. Slick Guitars has an offset hollow body jazz master style guitar with a similar finish, but this one looks way more polished. Also, the unfinished backs are dope in my opinion, but get rid of the binding on the back. Would look better. It would be cool to see it stained, but the natural appearance is fine IMO. Would happily take one of those prototypes off of you!
All 3 colors are cool, but my preference goes for the purple and the red one - Don't know which one looks cooler and if both are released it will be a very hard choice ! The backs are nice as they are ! Natural wood, it definitely looks ok. As other guys already said, you should really not worry about it !
I like the plain back. I think the natural look adds to the ascetic. Looks sick and I would like to get one, but I already have multiple single cuts and cant see adding another. but that Blue looks the best! Also the back on the blue looks better than the red. I understand some people dont like the natural wood finish, The Blue and Purple are so nice I want one or both... Sick!

Some nice phukkin' guitars there, man - incredible spec's! I can't believe it's three years since the V1 came out..?? Man, we've all lost so much time from our lives recently... 😕 Heavier strings help with tuning stability if your riff hand is a bit "heavy" - Lighter strings tend to stretch a bit more when being "chugged", leading to a little bit of sharpness in the note before settling back down. I recently put a set of Papa Het's strings on my guitar and - while I used to play 9's for years, but had gone back to 10's about 5 years ago - the 11 feels incredibly light, and the 50 really does hold things together when the right hand gets carried away... 🙂 Looking forward to seeing what you do with those Boss-level Beasts!!

Black hardware would look cool like some have mention but IMO with the raw stripped back vibe of that finish style having the ornate triple binding around the body is a little much, I think a natural or black single style binding would look badass, maybe a red/blue/purple color matched but really i think a black single binding would out line it just enough to be noticed but not ornately flashy, maybe single black binding on the headstock too.
When you said you liked the heavier strings so you could dig in is literally the entire reason I play heavier strings. 10’s on fenders and 11’s on gibsons. I have the right hand of a sledgehammer.

Skip the binding on the back and paint the sides & back satin black. I'd also ditch the HB on the truss-rod cover.
