Only Ford that I've owned that gave me transmission issue was my 1992 Ford Ranger and that's because it sat for a few years not ran thru and seals went bad. My 1997 Ford Taurus never gave us an issue, the 2007 F150 had cam phaser and spark plug issue but never stranded me, 2014,2012 F150 5.0 zero issues, 2014 F250 had a seat motor go out. But my 2015 F250 has had AC go out, backup camera fail, wheel bearing fail, 4WD actuator went out. But motor and Transmission have been great I think the 2015 was not maintained well before I got it and would of kept my 2014 F250 knowing what I know now.
    The Chevys in the family.
2001 Blazer AC went out twice, window motor broke, door hinges went out causing water to pour into the cab, rear axle went out
    2015 Chevy Trax
AC went out, 4high blower setting went out, turbo went out and lately it's leaking coolant with only like 80k miles.
We will take Ford over Chevy any day.

I’m not a Ford dude and not a mechanic either, but Your mechanic review was not good. I do a lot of research and there’s more crap wrong with the 2019 Ford Expedition XLT than you can throw a stick at…
There is not a sensor for the coolant level.
You will damage the engine when the temperature alarm does come on.
All the electrical wiring is loved by the rodents!
There is not a large lower radiator deflector to prevent rocks from entering the bay.
The heavy duty starter only looks heavy duty, hmmm!
Plastic cover for the hitch is made cheap, but not cheap to replace.
Plenty of videos to replace engine & cabin filters for $10 each rather than dealership doing them for $100 plus.
There’s more, but live & learn.

Hi there, I can appreciate the review, but everything seemed to be "I believe it MAY be a problem" which is cool from a mechanic point of view, but have any of those "issues" you mentioned actually been an issue? If that makes sense? I've owned many different makes of vehicles and all have ups and downs, I have zero brand loyalty.

The engine shut off at stops can be turned on or off. You don't need to get another car to get one that doesn't turn off..
Never had a Ford with a trans problem. My current F 150 has 219,000 miles on it and trans works great, and never changed the fluid and filter...Which is probably a mistake most people make. But I still intend to change it.
If you're worried about electrical problems, GM has a lot of problems , especially Cadillac.
Bottom line,,,they all have their share of issues.

Well another thing is that mechanics see the vehicles when they have problems. There might be a 2k more Fords without issues for every one that does. Perhaps people didn’t service the transmission on time. So many people only worry about her engine oil changes, if that.

Gotta say most of your remarks are not well thought out. You have a lot of “this might go bad’s”. And a lot of early 90’s thoughts. I hope you get one. All of us EB owners actually sink way less money into our autos.
We have way better real power than suburbans. Easily way faster. Definitely driving through mountains is better.
Honestly. Not much of your predictions have any merit, and that’s all this review was. In no way can other red white and blue products touch this. Maybe provide some real numbers instead of a looooong prediction.

I think you missed the mark on this video particularly on the transmission, given the track record of the jointly designed Ford/GM 10 speed, and even more ironically GM is the one having problems.
