If you instead want to build into that massive 50% status, you can get one with Magnetic so you can have an extra status on it for a total of 5, or you can get impact and use Hemorrhage to convert them into slash procs, which works better on a hybrid build.
The Hemorrhage Hybrid build I think benefits more if you do it with the Tenet Cycron. You want your Kuva Nukor to be a crit beast, so you want as much crit multi as possible.
For Condi Overload or own Galv Shot, the microwave limb enlargement counts as extra status effect, so for priming function people tend to pick up magnetic (microwave+viral+heat+rad+magnetic) or impact with Hemorrhage (microwave+viral+heat+impact+slash+rad)
Since I wanna get the most out of my CO, would it be a good idea to run a slash/viral set up on my melee and go with a Kuva nukor build consisting of microwave/radiation/magnetic/heat/corrosive?
I went with magnetic damage to add an extra status proc for what was then the condition overload melee primer. Now with the 4 damage types, mag, rad, viral, heat, it just adds extra damage for a galvanized build
Fun Fact: This gun is the first ever Lich I spawned. had NO idea wtf was going on, but got tired that dude stealing my shit, so figured out what I needed to do to get rid of him......vut when I got to the final choice, I converted him instead.
I recommend a magnetic progenitor instead of heat since youre gonna use primed heated charge anyway its better to have more elements covered for gun co. Also cascadia overcharge is a great arcane to use with it if you can get overshields
I actually enjoy using this as a main weapon sometimes. I main Zephyr, so I get extra crit chance in the air, and with Archon Shards, I'm able to push the crit chance even higher. The tornadoes also help to spread the damage even more efficiently. If you play Zephyr at all, I'd highly recommend this one.
I was rerolling my Nukor riven and I got CC CD. I tried it out, with a high end build, but it did less damage than when I went pure status. Indeed, going for that and Galvanised Shot is what makes the weapon powerful, especially since the Nukor exclusive status effect counts towards the Condition Overload effect. Also, I had 25% crit chance, far from amazing
I find that you basically can go for two different approaches with the Kuva Nukor. One if you want to do the damage with the weapon itself which is the one you suggest. I would probably drop considering the crit chance at all and get that from a different source instead like a Smeeta, an Adarza, running Harrow or whatever you like and then slotting something else into that slot as it will only take the crit chance to 20% anyway so really not a lot. Another use for the gun is as a primer for a melee weapon. Here the microwave status effect also counts towards condition overload. So for this purpose I would go for magnetic as it does not interfere with the mods you put on it. So you can mod it for viral and heat with mods, get radiation and microwave from the weapon itself and magnetic from the progenitor bonus. I use this with my Hirudo and can quite easily take the Hirudo into steel path with this setup. Basically I just hold the mouse button for half a second and get 5 different status effects on most enemies around me and then kill them off with the Hirudo. I am running Primed Heated Charge on it though I have considered running pure 60/60 mods on it to just max the status stat and get the procs even faster.
Condition Overload is what it's famous for. I definitely need that mod, but it's so hard to get. There is that arcane that does damage with every status proc though, so it'll still be good without it.
Personally I have my kuva nukor doing impact damage, so with hemorrage on it it deals radiation + heat + viral + impact + slash + groing effect so six status. It still doesn't interfere with status mods you put on it and basically, it just melts grineers with slash procs 😂
Kuva Nukor is strong for the very fact it is both a powerful damage dealer and is a primer without sacrificing performance in either. This compared with the epitath where good luck trying to kill people quickly with it's slow staggering AoE (assuming base performance + direct hit, epitaph deals 120 damage with a FR of 1.5, or 180 DPS. K Nukor does 21+ damage with 10 FR. dealing 210+ DPS). K Nukor also has the advantage of higher fire rate allowing it to put more stacks on it's procs compared to the epitaph. But this is not to say the epitaph is bad. Just that the K Nukor has the ability to deal big damage (10x Mag + Vir = 10x damage in general). The only exception is in Deimos where the enemies are immune to Viral... but then just run corrosive and melt.
"Cold, Toxin or Heat" Nope. No to *any* Kuva weapon having those. The meta answer is Galvanized and or Crit and Magnetic. You want the Standard Neapolitan Nukor, you get a riven with cold or toxin on + CC/CD or D/MS, and there's your "free slot" to throw both galv and double crit on the same gun along with prime heat and bane. Not only does it add an extra status but this guarantees it will wreck anything with shields as easily as any other protection. Impact is worthless on the nukor and has the same problem as putting hunter munitions on a beam weapon; by the time slash has procc'd in any meaningful capacity the target should have already been long dead, because the fire rate trumps any attempt to convert damage in any meaningful capacity and you want bane in the hunter slot anyway.
I'm surprised you didn't talk about it being one of the best "primer" weapons in the game, probably pairing well with glaive prime, with condition overload, or the like. is that even still meta? I don't know, I don't meta, but it's worth mentioning I guess.
I personally still prefer magnetic for any enemies with any stupid shields getting in the way. The melee I use or primary would apply the other IPS status if required (my set up has my nukor carrying rad, vir, mag and heat, boar p with corr, cold + base impact w/ HM to give me about 7-8 procs on an enemy. Melee is either similar or gas/electric + forced slash. Slash procs are quite easy to get so in the context of things, magnetic would be a better option. Esp since you can exchange Hemmorage with another mod like Augur Pact or a Riven if you're lucky to have one.
The Kuva Nukor does have one flaw. ONE flaw: you can't use skins on it. Trivial, I know, but I just really care about my FashionFrame, and the Kuva Nukors's aesthetic just isn't for me.

weapon the weapon deals enough damage, and it's straight up better to get magnetic to prime enemies for condition overload for melee.

So this is why we don't have a Kuva Atomos. They just took that and called it Nukor.

Hey when you got the magnetic was it 50%
Magnetic or Impact Kuva Nukor is currently meta weapon

What element do u have?

A weapon to surpass the MIGHT SEER
I sense Heresy. No one downtalks the MIGHTY SEER

So heat if i dont care about CO? I just want raw damage. Lazer go brrrr kinda gun
What kind of riven would be good for it?
Biggest zero to hero in warframe, pretty crazy. Anyway I prefer the MIGHTY SEER
There is, the *MIGHTY SEER* guy!
Use Harrow and it's just morbid
Secondary Merciless

Impact + Hemmorage = one of the best status primers
I personally still prefer magnetic for any enemies with any stupid shields getting in the way. the worse thing about the kuva nukor... its meta. fun, but meta.
Am I the only one who finds this gun...boring? It just feels like I'm cheating with this weapon because if how sthpidly good it is.
The Kuva Nukor does have one flaw. ONE flaw: you can't use skins on it. Trivial, I know, but I just really care about my FashionFrame, and the Kuva Nukors's aesthetic just isn't for me.
Am I really first?
Yes! :D
Looks like it
