I like the classic white for home and I thing the alternate blue looks fine w grey or white pants. My only complaint tho is the pants. i wished they would go back to the shorter pant with the cool socks that are so traditionally baseball. The long pants look to formal.

There’s a tactical advantage wearing whites at home, as summers carry high temperatures and white jerseys would reflect the heat. On the flips side, visitor teams have to wear their dark uniforms putting them at a disadvantage. Besides classic whites are best.

The uniforms from the Tommy Lasorda era makes total sense, to not only honor Tommy but to commemorate the events that happened in those uniforms. Overall, Dodgers should definitely shake it up and rock some alternatives here and there. There are some from the Brooklyn days that look good.
Franchises like the Dodgers with an iconic look shouldn’t bother themselves with alternate jerseys (sell whatever you want on mlb shop for fans to wear but on game day - keep it real). Right now on road: DODGERS when playing NL West and California based teams, LOS ANGELES against everyone else. If you insist on an alt jersey at least design it off of a previous version. Most 3rd jerseys today look like glorified batting practice gear and it comes as lazy and lame.

If they bring back the 1977-1998 jerseys with the “LA” logo on the left sleeve (cause you have to modernize it a bit) I think it’s a W. Plus the rings on each sleeve look dope. This would be a GREAT way to honor Tommy. The Dodgers would print more money if they just brought these back with an “LA” logo on the sleeve. The time is now if I’m being honest. We got a DreamTeam with lots of players to choose from.

Home...whites forever. Road....grays split between Dodgers/Los Angeles. They stop doing that a couple of years ago. Not sure why. And they also took the stripe off the pants. For the blue alternative...if they do it.....road only. They should have both a Dodgers and a Los Angeles one. But only wear here and there...maybe one weekend game only. But not every road weekend game. So is actually a real alternate. There u go.
