Ive been using a Tomtoc very similar if not the same as the model reviewed. I have to say ive had not issues and it has led me to buy more products from the brand that are equally well built. A highly recommend from me. 👏🏻👍🏻
I normally like the direction that tomtoc has been going lately, what annoys me a bit about their product though it that they keep throwing X-Pac on their bags so they can write "X-Pac" in the product description, but then they don't use the material all the way around the bag. This is a prime example, they can't stop saying X-Pac in their promotional material, but then they only use it on the front panel of the backpack and nowhere else? I know that tomtoc is cheaper than competitors like Aer for example, but at least when Aer says X-Pac, you can bet your ass it's made out of X-Pac all the way around, not just on one flap.
I second this. I already knew that when I bought this pack to try out, but X-Pac + their marketing also implies a lot from a bag. I can't tell if this bag's top zippers are waterproof/resistant but it only uses YKK Aquaguard zippers on the front 2 pockets. They don't show this clearly in their product photos so this video helps a lot to see all the zippers. Can anyone confirm if the top zippers are water resistant? Would be really surprised if they weren't for the tech compartment.
Thanks for the review! I got both the T73 and the T50 backpacks and I'm really torn on which to pick. Which would you say is better? Also, do you know which is the material on the T73 exactly? Apart from the X-Pac on the front, I cannot find any official sources on the other material. Thanks!
They should have had the side handler on the other side, or the water bottle. Because the tilt will bother some people Does the size of the backpack, stay big? Even if it's empty? It sort of reminds me of the mous backpack, if that's the case. Because an expandable backpack, that has a laptop and tablet pocket, is perfect and I've not found many that's as good as tomtoc. But the bulk size when empty could throw me off
would be curious about a direct comparison with aer travel pack 3 small, since it looks like this bag was designed to compete with it. one plus would be that this bag is a pound lighter
I like the organization of this backpack, EXCEPT for the internal water bottle pocket. That's very weird when you already have an external pocket for that.
As an owner of an Anker 737 battery pack, I'm always keeping an eye out for where I can store that. In this case, Morgan mentioned the external pocket doesn't stretch much so I'm interested now that I know there's a place to store a blocky battery.
I really appreciate how you show the fit of the bags on a man and a woman in your reviews! That's super helpful, thank you!
Thanks for watching! 😃
Tomtoc makes high quality stuff, usually for much less than their competitors. Might pick this one up!
🤙🤙🤙
tomtoc has surprised me lately, their stuff is really well made
🤙🤙🤙
Been waiting for this review. Seems like a comparable alternative to the Aer City Pack.
Thanks for watching! 😃

Seems like a good backpack, indeed. And it also looks quite professional, tbh.
Is it the 20L or 30L version? Thanks, really enjoyed the video!
On the description, it says it’s the 30L

Why would the zippers on the laptop compartment not be waterproof? This bag is almost perfect...

I like the look of this bag quite a bit. Looks roomy enough to carry two laptops comfortably, for those of us who occasionally need to do so.
Thanks for sharing your insights! 🤙
Wondering if the water bottle pocket will fit a 26 oz Yeti rambler. Only thing preventing me from biting the bullet.

Thanks for the suggestion! I’ll pass it along.

@@PackHacker2 could also toss in the north face base camp voyager daypack which is also a tp3 small clone
🤙🤙🤙
I am torn between this one and the Aer Travel Pack 3 small as well. Which one would you recommend?
Have you used it as a personal item on domestic flights?
Great review, thank you!
Thanks for watching! 😃
What are the internal dimensions of the main compartment please?
Looks a lot like an Aer backpack.
🤙🤙🤙
I wish there is a smaller version of that one.
It has 2 size, 20L & 30L (30L version but actually the real capacity about 24 - 25L )

Please take the sticker off the OWALA bottle 😂
😂😂😂
😮😮😮👍👍👍
Why would someone carry 2 water bottles😂😂😂
Water and coffee.
Because sometimes you don’t have any free time to go buy it.
Water bottle ... and ... umbrella :)
