Dunhuang at the Crossroads: The Manuscript Evidence

- Imre Galambos, Professor of Chinese in the Faculty of Asian and Middle Eastern Studies at the University of Cambridge, examines how manuscripts from the Dunhuang Library Cave reveal the cultural and linguistic complexity of the region during the period before and after the cave was closed in the early eleventh century. Shih-shan Susan Huang, Associate Professor of Transnational Asian Studies at Rice University, acts as moderator.
